Strengths

Excellent frame with long arms. Terrific awareness and intelligence. Great overall strength. Wide and smooth in pass protection. Tremendous reach to keep rushers at bay. Hands are prepared to connect as a pass blocker. Uses both hands with accurate placement to the chest of opponents in pass protection. Very smooth sliding his feet. Impressive mirror skills. Closes off inside rushes. Tremendous anchor strength when he settles in. Has no problem dealing with stunts. Able to catch wide rushes. Excellent connecting and holding position at the point of attack. Engages accurately and moves his feet to drive in the running game. Will extend and lock out opponents. Great pop as the second blocker to connect on double teams. Good ability to turn opponents on runs to the outside. Will take care of defenders that cross his face by using their momentum against them. Ideal technique moving from block to block. Efficient transitioning to the second level. Excellent accuracy reaching linebackers. Quality mobility on cross-formation pulls. Played well versus NFL-caliber rushers.

Weaknesses

Could add more strength to hold his ground versus initial contact in pass protection. Will get knocked off balance when rushers hit his chest. Has some misses reaching at the snap. Needs to play more with his feet underneath him. Has some stiffness bending. Lumbers a bit in terms of stop-and-start quickness in the open field. Needs to be careful about rocking back on his heels before the snap.

Conclusion

Overall, Fisher is a natural right tackle with an all-around game to hold up in pass protection and lead the way as a run blocker. He could clean some things up and play with improved balance at times, but Fisher should be a quality starter at the next level.
