Strengths
Outstanding athleticism. Great speed and acceleration. Extremely light on his feet. Quick out of his stance and tremendous quickness in general. Knows how to be the aggressor in pass protection. Very smooth and composed shuffling to reach rushers. Great efficiency to make a couple of slides and attack. Extremely confident in his mirror ability. Exceptional patience. Terrific recovery speed and quickness. Natural overall feel and instincts to recover. Effective sliding to cut off inside moves when ready for it. Has no problems with spin moves late in the rush. Never seems to lunge or overextend. Extremely fluid hips that work in unison with his feet. Good impact strength on double teams versus bigger defensive linemen. Will bury opponents he takes down. Outstanding efficiency following the right guard on double interior pulls. Very accurate hitting linebackers on the second level. Extremely controlled making blocks in space. Excellent awareness shielding off opponents in the open field. Accurate catching a piece of defenders on screen passes. Highly intelligent in the open field and will switch his target based on the location of defenders. Great vision and awareness to take trailing defenders. Quick hands to strike at the snap and get into space. Experienced flipping to the left side for unbalanced lines.
Weaknesses
Average length that seemed to result in losses versus speed rushes. Can get jarred back and knocked off balance when defenders get their hands to his chest. Sometimes opens up to match rushers with athleticism rather than sliding with depth. Will overset to the side and allow inside moves. Susceptible to inside moves in general. Needs to be careful about leaving the edge open when helping inside in pass protection. Could have trouble against thicker defenders that play with power. Slow reacting to the looping defender on stunts. Pass sets have a gather motion in his upper body at times.

Conclusion
Overall, Rosengarten is an athletic, instinctive tackle prospect that fits best in a zone blocking scheme at the next level. He does get beat at times, but the weaknesses are correctable with improved technique, and the entire package of traits could get him drafted early on Day 2.
