Strengths
Large frame and build. Huge upper body. Very athletic lower body. Light on his feet. Strong core to stay balanced. Outstanding movement skills for his weight class. Extremely strong hands. Very quick off the ball. Fluid turning his hips. Drives defenders off the spot to create running lanes. Will uproot and stone edge defenders to hold his ground on outside runs. Great strength to move defensive lineman on double teams. Two-handed shoves are very impactful. Finishes opponents by burying them when he can. Tremendous ability to transition accurately from block to block. Excellent acceleration at his size. Smooth on perimeter pulls. Very comfortable in space. Imposing figure to lead the way on screen passes. Routinely wipes out opponents with a head of steam. Has plenty of pancake blocks in the open field. Scans the field and looks for players to hit in the open field. Great overall poise in pass protection. Very aware and patient. Able to move his feet and rebalance when stopping as a pass blocker. Uses hands to check rushers. Pass sets are smooth and quick. Intelligent to hold back and not draw illegal man downfield penalties. Communicates and calls things out before the play. Showed well versus top UCLA edge defender Laiatu Latu.
Weaknesses
Mirror quickness in pass protection appears average. Steps are a bit choppy. Could struggle with pure speed rushes. Power isn’t on display as consistently versus bigger opponents. Has some stretches where he doesn’t seem to be playing as fast.

Conclusion
Overall, Fuaga is a big, athletic offensive tackle that moves extremely well and provides plenty of wipeout power. If he can be just a bit more consistent, the natural ability is there for him to be an impact player up front for an NFL offense.
