Strengths
Compact and decisive runner. Very tough overall player. Excellent acceleration and quickness. Sticks his foot in the ground and goes. Packs a major punch for his size. Very quick and efficient making cuts. Follows his blockers and gets what is available. Will cut and slip between small creases. Tremendous vision into the open field. Extremely instinctive to take the optimal path and maximize yardage for chunk gains. Knows how to follow blockers in space. Good feet to make defenders miss on low tackle attempts. Can brush off would-be tacklers with strength. Peaks ahead when he breaks through the line of scrimmage and looks for another path if he sees a safety filling in run support. Excellent cutback vision. Will recognize opportunities to bounce runs. Shows zero hesitation as a short-yardage runner. Proved to be a touchdown machine. Determined to lower his shoulder and fight his way into the end zone. Will dart into the trenches without hesitation. Effective on swing passes. Reliable catching on-target passes. Great in pass protection. Stands in and will stone inside blitzers. Very strong chipping defenders. Experience in a pro-style rushing attack.
Weaknesses
Could have more patience to let things develop rather than just going. Occasionality lowers his eyes and misses an opening. Will run into the back of his blockers at times. Doesn’t show a ton of ball-carrier moves in the open field. Not as effective on outside runs/sweeps. Average long speed for the next level. Limited overall route tree in the passing game. Limited catch radius. Likely undersized for a workhorse role.

Conclusion
Overall, Corum is a quick, tough, and decisive runner that plays bigger than his size with impressive strength and effectiveness between the tackles. He benefitted from a top offensive line at Michigan, but Corum can routinely pick up positive yardage and find the end zone.
