Strengths
Solid overall size/build. Outstanding aggressiveness. Terrific speed and acceleration. Fluid movement skills and athleticism. Very smooth in the backpedal. Extremely light feet and almost seems to float around. Tremendous ability to read and break on and underneath throw. Extremely accurate getting a hand in at the catch point. Shows great ability to mirror underneath. Experience in man coverage versus wide receivers in the slot. Rarely faced them but held up versus top wideouts. Good discipline to keep his assignment versus play action. Showed excellent ability to high point balls down the field. Tracks the ball well. Excellent strength and physicality. Flies up to finish with force. Looks to inflict punishment as a hitter after triggering downhill. Very reliable tackling when broken down. Very effective chopping down opponents. Great pursuit playing outside runs. Will extend and shed blockers. Very strong taking on blocks in general. Aggressive versus offensive linemen in space. Seems to never allow blockers to reach his frame.
Weaknesses
Awareness is inconsistent. Sideline-to-sideline instincts as a deep safety aren’t quite there. Will get too much depth and be out of the play as a single-high deep safety. Finds himself in trail position covering vertical routes. Reaction time is slow at times. Needs to take more controlled angles to tackle wide receivers between the numbers. Doesn’t always anticipate the ball-carriers path well enough and will be too shallow.

Conclusion
Overall, Bullard is a very athletic and aggressive safety with role versatility and great effectiveness playing the run. He saw a lot of snaps as a deep safety at Georgia, but the best fit for him is closer to the action for an NFL defense.
