Strengths
Tremendous size and build. Great overall athleticism. Possesses suddenness for his size. Outstanding leaping and high-point ability. Attacks the ball in the air with his hands. Very confident and effective on jump balls. Fluid flipping his hips and tracking the ball while shielding off the defender. Has made one-handed catches look routine. Brings in passes securely for body catches. Tracks the ball very well downfield. Terrific on contested catches. Great catch focus in traffic. Smooth out of breaks. Exceptional crispness breaking off curls and comebacks. Very strong and will use physicality at the top of routes. Extremely deceptive for his size and will use shake to get open. Great ability to recognize holes in coverage. Knows how to settle between the cornerback and safety down the field. Varies his release package. Effective outside release to get vertical. Very smooth stair-stepping to get cornerbacks on their heels. Showed a double move and should be able to run it more. Highly intelligent with clear spatial awareness to instinctively find space on broken plays. Excellent side-step juke move in space. Used both outside and in the slot. Saw plenty of snaps in motion. Often targeted on quick screens. Tremendous effort and ability as a blocker. Rare big wideout that was effective as a punt returner.
Weaknesses
Average overall burst as a separator. Can struggle to get off press-man coverage. Often runs into cornerbacks playing cushion coverage and has his route slowed. Seems to throttle down too quickly at times on intermediate routes (not lack of effort).

Conclusion
Overall, Coleman is a big, physical, and athletic wide receiver that knows how to attack the ball in the air and has some shake to his game. The entire package of skills combined with high football intelligence makes him an excellent first-round target despite a throwback play style that teams have gone away from.
