Strengths
Very light on his feet and stays ready to pounce. Plays with an edge and extreme confidence. Good length for his build. Excellent fluidity and natural athleticism. Tremendous overall instincts. Top-tier ball skills and aggression. Tremendous awareness and instincts in deep zone coverage. Accurate at the catch point and takes terrific angles to the ball. Stays on top of receivers down the field on straight route paths. Very quick reaction time to play throws in front of him. Quick to close off space when receivers break at the top of routes. Stays right on in-breaking routes. Confident to get in the face of receivers playing press coverage. Great overall technique in press coverage and uses hands to stay connected without grabbing. Very good accuracy jamming in press coverage. Fluid coming out of the press. Shows stickiness in man coverage. Will use his hands to check early in the route. Can be all over underneath routes. Blankets receivers to cover stop routes. Outstanding recovery burst from the trail position. Plasters receivers on scrambles. Great play recognition on wide receiver screens. Mostly played right cornerback but has seen snaps in the slot. Has the desired mentality to hit. Will throw his body in help on tackles. Effective tackler defending short throws on the outside. Shows he can come in to tackle running backs and chop down opponents in space.
Weaknesses
Very thin overall build. More of an instinctive cover man that needs to clean up his technique. Sloppy technique causes him to get turned around defending deeper route breaks. Needs to keep his responsibility to not allow throws behind him when seeking the opportunity to jump a throw. Susceptible to double moves due to aggressiveness. Free-styling technique leads to separation versus crisper route runners. Gets too grabby throughout the route. Often a low/ankle tackler that lacks strength. Can be completely absorbed by offensive linemen in space.

Conclusion
Overall, Bryant is an instinctive, playmaking cornerback with tremendous ball skills and high confidence in coverage. He is undersized and needs to polish his technique to be more consistent, but Bryant should be a strong value early on Day 2.
