Strengths
Tremendous versatility. Experience as both an edge defender and off-ball linebacker. Switched positions from play to play with no issues. Great instincts and awareness. Bouncy movement skills. Rare agility and reactionary quickness for an edge. Possesses sudden change-of-direction ability. Flexible ankles and outstanding balance. Instant get off and seems to charge up as a rusher. Relentless motor. Disciplined but plays fast and aggressive. Gives outstanding overall effort. Fiery competitor. High-level ability as a pass rusher despite limited experience. Extremely quick feet and able to use shake as a rusher. Uses a straight arm to walk back offensive tackles and get inside. Flashes big-time power. Very effective rip move. Terrific ability to turn the corner and flatten. Closes the gap on quarterbacks very quickly. Fast and aggressive as a blitzer. Able to slip between blockers both as a rusher and run defender. Used on plenty of stunts both as an edge and linebacker. Excellent play recognition. Tremendous reaction time to begin his pursuit. Routinely gets off or around blocks to make the play. Almost always takes the right angle to the ball. Great ability to side step blockers in space. Extremely effective overall tackler. Wraps with force. Ankle tackles always seem to be successful. Quick hands that pair with his feet to shed or avoid engagement. Very strong holding his ground taking on blocks. Powerful to engage and extend versus offensive linemen. Physical setting the edge. Works to get off the spot when blockers attach. Keeps his eyes on the ball while defeating blocks. Tremendous as a backside run defender. Very quick pinching to the ball coming from wide alignment. Used as a quarterback spy. Smooth movement skills in coverage. Very fluid dropping back from the edge. Has seen snaps in overhang/slot position. Can hold up against running backs in coverage. Completely took over in the first game versus Texas (2024).
Weaknesses
Still learning but more of a hunter than polished sack artist. Would like to see him fully unleash the speed rush. Less than ideal height and length. Pushed around a couple of times by big right tackle Cameron Williams (Texas 2024).

Conclusion
Overall, Walker is an extremely instinctive, versatile, and talented defender that best fits as a 3-4 outside linebacker. The combination of high-end flashes and well-rounded skillset gives him a legitimate case to be the best player in the class.
