Strengths
Strong build and above-average length. Gives tremendous overall effort. Plays low to create leverage. Outstanding overall strength. Excellent burst and explosiveness. Terrific speed and athleticism. Impressive impact strength on power rushes. Powerful on the bull rush. Has shown a rip move around the corner. Flashes skipping slap-down and stab moves as a rusher. Possesses athleticism and fluidity to bend on the edge. Strong and rangy as a finisher. Relentless and instinctive to finish. Wraps up the quarterback with force. Natural balance to keep his feet. Great pursuit and all-out hustle to the ball. Quick hands to shed. Excellent ability to extend and shed on the edge. Attacks the chest of offensive linemen with aggression and impact strength. Strong setting the edge and taking on tight ends. Ideal hand placement on the chest/shoulders of tight ends to power them off him. Fast and physical crashing down the line of scrimmage. Quick flashing across the face of blockers. Wraps up ball-carriers effectively when he gets into the backfield. Great patience to play cutbacks as the backside defender. Terrific backside defender and tackler in general. Holds his spot to keep contain versus outside runs. Very strong to split double teams. Extremely willing to get in on tackles. Was in the backfield with three tackles for loss against star Iowa running back Kaleb Johnson (2024). Played both as a stand-up rusher and with his hand in the dirt. Mostly lined up on the left edge but has experience on both sides of the formation. Used to rush standing up on the interior and over the A-gap. Covers plenty of ground dropping back in coverage. High-end football character. Former off-ball linebacker who switched to the edge during his final season for the good of the team.
Weaknesses
Learning how to finish at the top of his rush. Developing skillset of how to attack with consistent success. Needs to learn how to play off inside attacks as a rusher. Can get driven back when blockers get to his frame. Has a tough time disengaging when opponents get inside leverage. Sometimes absorbed by down blocks (especially when shaded inside). Will be too aggressive playing the running back on zone reads.

Conclusion
Overall, Oladejo is a strong, athletic, and high-character edge defender with impressive natural ability as a pass rusher considering his limited experience. The untapped potential with more coaching and development makes him an excellent target in Round 2.
