Strengths

A+ football character and demeanor for the offensive line. Ideal height and weight. Gritty overall blocker. Impressive athleticism and movement skills. Outstanding hand placement and grip strength. Attaches to the chest/collar of defenders. Great overall posture. Keeps a balanced foundation with his shoulders back. Excellent strength and aggressiveness. Balanced and works to drive on down blocks. Quick feet when used as a puller. Accurate reaching linebackers on the second level. Will jump on an opponent that he gets to the ground. Outstanding overall patience as a pass blocker. Very accurate with initial reach in pass protection. Moves his feet well when attached as a pass blocker and will try to control rushers. Extremely effective when clamping on opponents. Stays balanced and locks them out. Exceptional anchor strength. Very quick first step on pass sets. Accurate moving forward to meet a rusher after pushing them back. Calm picking up stunts and loops. Helps to block interior defensive linemen with no one rushing from the edge. Patient to stay behind the line of scrimmage on screens. Played right tackle on unbalanced lines. Exposed some early versus talented Texas A&M front but settled in as the game progressed (2024).

Weaknesses

Below-average length and wingspan at tackle. Base is less consistent as a run blocker. Doesn’t sustain blocks as long in pass protection. Needs to move his feet better to mirror. Might lack the foot quickness to reach faster speed rushes. Rushers can get to his chest and knock him off balance on power rushes. Leaves the door open for inside moves. Had a couple of complete whiffs on shorter pass sets. Struggled some versus South Carolina edge defender Kyle Kennard (2024).

Conclusion

Overall, Campbell is an aggressive offensive lineman with very strong hands and the desired mentality for the position. His best fit at the next level is likely moving to guard where he can get his hands on opponents earlier and his strengths as a pass blocker would be emphasized.
