Strengths
Excellent speed and explosiveness. Home-run threat with the ball. Highly intelligent overall player. Terrific acceleration. Able to simply run past defenders to capture the corner on outside runs. Great ability to press runs to the line of scrimmage and quickly bounce out towards an opening. Tremendous burst to get to full speed immediately after bouncing a run. Strong stiff arm. Uses quick skip moves to make low tacklers miss while staying in a sprint. Makes very quick cuts between the tackles. Very explosive through a small crease. Extremely quick to square his shoulders and get downhill. Impressive strength and physicality for his play style. Covers up the ball on inside runs. Will lower his shoulder and crash into opponents with force to finish runs. Able to get up to hurdle defenders. Experience splitting carries in an NFL-level rushing attack. Very dangerous receiver out of the backfield. Used on pop passes and screens. Fast on wheel routes. Very effective on stutter-and-go routes. Excellent hands down the field. Quick to recognize open space as a route runner. Should be a weapon on angle routes and option routes with more opportunities. Has experience lining up outside the numbers and in the slot. Extremely committed teammate. Phenomenal pass blocker and will stone opponents with accuracy. Tremendous technique in pass protection. Chips are extremely strong. Very impactful as a blocker in general. Very effective when used as a lead blocker. Laid out star Penn State safety Jaylen Reed on a block in space (2024).
Weaknesses
Could have more patience to let things develop at times rather than getting too eager and going. Forward-looking field vision is inconsistent. Sometimes will lower his shoulder into defenders in space rather than taking a clearer outside path for a bigger gain. Might have slight stiffness when eluding/evading tacklers while not at full speed. Located the ball late on a couple of angle routes versus Oregon in College Football Playoff matchup (2024).

Conclusion
Overall, Henderson is a fast, explosive back that can take runs the distance but also complements the big-play ability with a complete skillset. The commitment as a blocker and upside as a pass-catcher makes him worth selecting as a late first-round or early second-round pick.
