Strengths

Excellent overall size. Phenomenal movement skills for a bigger tight end. Moves and catches like a smaller player. Very crafty at his size. Tremendous speed and acceleration. Outstanding overall athleticism. Hands are big and soft. Exceptional hand-eye coordination. Terrific catch focus on contested grabs in tight coverage. Comfortably makes body catches without breaking stride. Fluid adjusting his hips and making a contested catch down the field. Great high-pointing and bringing in passes off his frame. Able to make acrobatic grabs. Manipulates defenders with head and shoulder fakes to separate on deep over routes. Smooth in and out of breaks on underneath routes. Sudden turning back to the quarterback on stop routes. Big target and fast working down the seam. Terrific on wheel routes. Can run a vertical stutter-and-go route. Saw a bunch of snaps out wide and in the slot. Extremely smooth turning into a runner after the catch. Playmaker with the ball in his hands. Extremely elusive at his size. Tremendous vision. Will accelerate to hit another gear. No qualms about lowering his shoulder into contact as a runner. Strong stiff arm. Dangerous on inside tunnel screens. Used extensively as a wildcat quarterback. Leaping ability shown around the goal line. Effective as a lead blocker. Good pop and accuracy on movement blocks. Accurate blocking on the second level and laid out Ohio State superstar safety Caleb Downs (2024). Strong hands to stay attached and overpower defensive backs in space as a blocker. Very good strength to wash out defensive ends. Progressed as a blocker throughout his final season.

Weaknesses

A lot of routes seem to be coasting on a certain path or to a certain spot. Can get bumped around by contact as a route runner (though could benefit from illegal contact at the next level). Could be better connecting consistently as a blocker. Missed a couple of blocks versus aggressive downhill defenders for Ohio State (2024).

Conclusion

Overall, Warren is a big-play weapon at tight end who also provides major versatility based on his ability with the ball in his hands. The skillset is there to run an expanded route tree and attack all three levels as a difference-maker for an NFL passing attack.
