Strengths
Burly overall build and size. Terrific length on the interior. Very powerful to generate drive as a run blocker. Nasty and combative. Works to stay engaged and finish blocks. Extremely strong grip to rarely let opponents out of his grasp. Great strength to get defensive linemen to the ground in the running game. Extremely accurate overall blocker. Outstanding overall footwork with smoothness and poise in movements. Smooth redirecting his blocks. Will smoothly turn a defender after driving them off the spot. Very strong hands while turning to stay engaged as defenders try working around him. Good timing working to the second level on combination blocks. Engages and creates a seal reaching the second level. Very impactful connecting from the side on double teams. Effective reaching edge defenders on outside. Good mobility and technique on reach blocks. Excellent accuracy on pulls. Very controlled connecting on the edge after pulling. Low in his stance and coming off the ball. Will line up low in short-yardage situations. Aggressive looking for opponents to block. Blocks through the whistle. Locks on as a pass blocker and doesn’t allow rushers to get free. Excellent ability to fight with his hands in pass protection. Regains leverage if pushed back as a pass blocker. Very smooth sliding as a pass blocker. Closes off inside rush attempts. Focuses on his assignment and has great patience as a pass blocker. Will engage with rushers and drive them out laterally. Makes sure his rush lane is clear before helping out teammates in pass protection. Impressive extension strength to push a blitzer away without hitting them with full force. High awareness and good feet to slide and handle stunts. Smooth blocking rushers over the center when protection slides. Experience pulling as a pass blocker. Ideal mentality for the offensive line and labels it as “menace mode.”
Weaknesses
Movement can be a bit plodding. Has some stiffness coming out of his stance on pulls. Needs to be careful about wrapping his hands around the back of defenders when engaging. Could struggle moving his feet to stick with looping rushers he’s not prepared for.

Conclusion
Overall, Campbell is a smooth and powerful guard with tremendous grip strength to generate drive and hold up in pass protection. Despite not being the most athletic or nimble player, Campbell makes every block asked of him and often makes it look easy.
