Strengths
Smooth and decisive one-cut runner. Runs extremely hard. Great strength and power at his size. Tremendous overall balance and will bounce off contact. Spins and powers forward going downhill. Keeps his balance while spinning through traffic on the second level. Able to find an outside cut when pressing inside runs to the line of scrimmage. Terrific feet and pacing as he picks a lane to go through. Light feet and can make quick cuts. Showed he can get skinny running through a lane. Smooth shuffle cut in the backfield with vision on the second level. Allows a pulling guard to lead the way through a running lane. Smooth getting downhill behind a block on runs to the edge. Presses runs to the line and stays behind his blockers before bouncing. Excellent feet and balance versus low tackle attempts. Powerful and balanced in the open field. Strong and quick stiff arm. Covers up the ball while finishing runs by lowering his shoulder. Keeps his feet churning into a pile inside and can find his way out of it. Exceptional balance and determination at the goal line. Able to bowl his way into the end zone. Used on direct snaps at the goal line. Great crispness on simple route cuts out of the backfield. Experience going out in motion and running routes like a wide receiver. Very smooth throttling down on hitches. Tremendous awareness in pass protection. Gets in front of blitzers and square them up. Will move his feet to stay in front as a pass blocker. Does a good job as the lead blocker on designed quarterback runs.
Weaknesses
Average speed. Can get too eager through a hole instead of being patient and scanning for a better path versus penetration. Vision and anticipation can be inconsistent with a hole developing that he doesn’t sense will open. Tore his ACL and MCL in 2024 and missed two months with an ankle injury in 2025. Dealt with stomach issues during games that led to missed time.

Conclusion
Overall, Moss is a smooth, decisive player who runs very hard and has impressive feet to pair with his power. He needs to stay on the field, but Moss can be a three-down back for an NFL offense.
