Strengths
Muscular and athletic build. Plenty of in-line experience. Natural hands. Very strong hands on contested catches. Great overall catch focus. Catches the ball out in front and away from his body to keep it out of reach from defenders. Shows shake to get vertical from the slot. Will rise for throws down the seam and go up with defenders nearby. Exceptional leaping ability. Strong high-point ability in scoring territory. Very comfortable reaching up for grabs in general. Able to survive contact with the ground. Excellent build-up speed. Great ability to bring in over-the-shoulder throws. Tremendous ability to leave his feet and extend for throws out in front of him down the field. Accelerates to top speed in a hurry on wheel routes. Good pacing and smoothness running corner routes. Will use physicality at the top of routes. Quick and smooth sitting between zone coverage underneath to present a target for the quarterback. Can smoothly sink his hips on pivot routes. Mismatch in the slot. Lined up outside the numbers. Used on jet motions when split out wide and draws attention from the defense. Targeted on tight end screens and middle screens. Dangerous on designed throws for run-after-catch opportunities underneath. Very strong and smooth after the catch. Has shown a hurdle move. Stays wide and moves his feet to drive as a blocker. Strong in-line blocker on runs to the edge. Effective pinning opponents inside to seal on outside runs. Strong to move edge defenders off the spot. Ideal overall aggression. Shows an edge finishing blocks. Very good lead blocker on outside runs. Accurate connecting on blocks in space. Aware for where to go as a blocker in space. Outstanding when used as a pass blocker. Saw snaps as a running back out of the shotgun.
Weaknesses
General pacing could be more consistent running routes. Learning how to throttle in and out of breaks. Could be more explosive out of breaks on short-to-intermediate routes. Needs to be more aware and polished as a route runner. Too often cuts his route short or gets off track with a defender on the spot. Would like to see more success uncovering and working into open space on scrambles. Could be better getting in front of defenders who crash inside. Could be more impactful into contact versus smaller defenders as a blocker in space. Lowered his eyes at the snap and missed a couple of blocks versus Indiana (2025).

Conclusion
Overall, Sadiq is a well-rounded tight end with the ability to make plays down the field and do damage after the catch. Considering his effectiveness as a blocker and the skillset to improve as a route runner, Sadiq should draw top-15 consideration.
