Strengths
Excellent build-up speed to get deep. Tremendous height. Long strides on vertical routes. Big target down the field. Tracks the ball extremely well down the field. Very good hands. Calm and confident catching the deep ball. Smooth making over-the-shoulder catches. Brings in over-the-shoulder passes with a defender on his back. Phenomenal overall timing to catch downfield passes. Exceptional balance and focus playing the ball deep down the field to keep his feet and score. Uses a subtle shove to separate down the field. Runs past cornerbacks on deep post routes. Dangerous on post routes in the red zone. Will make high-point grabs in contested coverage. Flashed an acrobatic skillset to make grabs reaching over defenders. Outstanding ability to contort his body with impressive catch focus going to the ground. Smooth catching the ball on the run. Shows speed variance on deep in-breaking routes. Tremendous hands with a leap and spin for passes thrown behind him. Wins inside and gets on top of cornerbacks. Shows suddenness on corner routes. Fast on high-angle corner routes. Shows he can be crisp and sudden breaking on out routes versus bump-and-run coverage. Great ability to break down on comeback routes at his size. Good fluidity on stop routes in general. Excellent hands reaching for throws to the side. Does a nice job getting his feet down on the boundary. Strides at the cornerbacks in cushion coverage before breaking on deeper slants. Deceptive on inside releases to get a step on crossing routes. Fast working across the field on crossing routes. Great understanding of spacing running through zone coverage over the middle. Intelligent player based on how he looks for throws when open. Hands are reliable between the numbers. Saw snaps in the slot. Targeted on bubble screens. Used in designed throws in the flat after going in motion. Showed some strength and balance after the catch. Fast juke move without losing much speed. Strong and aggressive when he commits to blocking. Showed impact power to lay out cornerbacks when he blocks. Accurate on contact engaging as a blocker. Seems to be a good teammate based on reactions to team success after calling for the ball and not getting it. Went off with a 6/177/3 line versus Georgia (2025).
Weaknesses
Lacks consistent crispness on more complex routes. Route cuts in general usually lack crispness. Some routes aren’t crisp/flat enough at times and throws will be short. Can have trouble separating from close coverage. Needs to avoid getting pinned outside the boundary with outside releases on vertical routes. Lacks awareness in general to keep from going out of bounds running routes. Can get stunned by physicality underneath. Can be better working back to the quarterback on scrambles. Almost exclusively played far outside on the right side of the formation. Very inconsistent blocking and often not asked to do it in Tennessee’s unique spread attack. Not a very good blocker out in front. Needs to do a better job sustaining blocks. Lacks aggression working inside as a blocker. Was on the other side of the field but didn’t hustle on a fumble returned for a touchdown by Oklahoma (2025).

Conclusion
Overall, Brazzell is a dangerous vertical threat with excellent size, great build-up speed, and impressive ability to play the ball downfield. He needs more development as a route runner in an NFL scheme, but Brazzell should provide major big-play potential from Day 1.
