Strengths

Prototype size/build for the interior. Above average overall athleticism and mobility. Hands are big and strong. Easily stays engaged through the play. Very quick out of his stance after the snap. Plus quickness and mirror skills in pass protection. Excellent hand placement and patience. Plays with very good balance. Keeps a square base in pass protection. Great acceleration to lead the way in space. Good mobility to the second level. Ideal timing/patience on screen passes. Able to turn and seal defenders in the running game. Can drive guys into the ground. Impressive combination of play strength and nastiness for his skillset. Very tough and experienced. Doesn’t back down. Should be able to play guard in a zone-blocking scheme.

Weaknesses

Pure power is just average. Awareness and reaction time can be improved in pass protection. Sometimes will lunge with his upper body and miss.

Conclusion

Overall, Hennessy is a solid all-around center with very good athleticism, strong hands to stay engaged in the running game, and desired toughness to make up for a lack of raw power. I think he has a chance to be drafted as early as the second round.
