Strengths

College right tackle with inside-out versatility. Tremendous overall size and ideal length for the interior. Hands are strong and massive. Outstanding power in the running game. Has no problems staying engaged. Generates easy movement at the point of attack. Finishes blocks. Will simply bury guys into the ground. Excellent hand placement as a run blocker. Able to turn and seal. Great combination of strength and size against smaller linebackers at the second level. Good acceleration as a puller. Plus movement skills in general for his size. Has the desired nastiness to play inside. Previously started at left guard and left tackle. Former high school basketball star that averaged a double-double.

Weaknesses

Would like to see more overall balance. Will lunge and miss. Sometimes overruns his target. Feet are a little plodding in pass protection. Loses technique trying to speed up pass sets at tackle. Missed second half of final season with a groin injury that required surgery.

Conclusion

Overall, Hunt is a powerful offensive lineman that best transitions inside at guard where he can pave the way as a run blocker and hold up better in pass protection. It will be interesting to see where he gets drafted because of injury concerns and a probable position change, but I have Hunt as worthy third-round selection.
