Strengths

Big overall frame. Plays with desired nastiness. Willing to bury defenders when he can. Has driven opponents to the sideline to finish a block. Generates good push on double teams. Great overall feet and mobility for a big man. Very quick/accurate in block transitions. Excellent acceleration to get to a spot in space. Often able to get just enough of a defender to spring a big run with a mobile block on the edge. Keeps his shoulders square on angle blocks. Exceptional field vision and reaction time. Pass sets are smooth and quick. Able to anchor down versus power rushers. Gets wide in pass sets to bring the fight to edge rushers away from the pocket. Great ability to stay connected to the speed rush. Mostly a right tackle but has starting experience at left tackle and right guard.

Weaknesses

Length is less than ideal for an offensive tackle. Seems to leave himself exposed to inside moves. Will be pushed back by defenders that get to his chest in pass protection. Has some issues going against length. Gets controlled by defenders that effectively use their hands. Doesn’t really uproot guys at the point of attack. Can lean too much. Not very effective on cut blocks.

Conclusion

Overall, Jenkins is a physical offensive lineman that plays with nastiness in the running game and showed he can keep the quarterback clean as a pass protector. His best fit is likely in a power-running scheme that also allows him to make some mobile blocks at right tackle.
