Strengths
Prototype size for an NFL guard. Physical and aggressive. Great upper body strength. Thick lower half. Plays low and creates easy leverage. Hands are extremely strong to stay connected throughout the play. Engages and locks out defensive lineman. Consistently gets in position and will turn defenders or move them off the spot. Can quickly turn a defensive lineman to create a lane. Accuracy of hand placement is excellent. Will grab the wrists of defensive linemen to disrupt/control them. Very strong on double teams. Great pop on initial contact and rolls his hips to drive. Routinely levels unsuspecting defenders. Effective as a puller or reaching linebackers. Tremendous field vision. Very good patience as a pass protector. Strong base and able to wall up versus power. Has starting experience at left tackle, right guard, and right tackle in addition to left guard. Played great at left tackle in 2021 win over Alabama.
Weaknesses
Doesn’t possess elite physical traits. Average foot quickness. Pass sets are a bit slow at left tackle (struggled at end of 2021 Arkansas game in obvious passing situations). Sometimes will wrap his hand around a defender’s back.

Conclusion
Overall, Green is a prototype guard that will consistently open holes in the running game and can kick outside to play tackle in a pinch. He always seems to do just enough to get the job done, and his play against top competition is reason to believe that will continue at the next level.
Perfect fit for some teams in need of a guard
