Strengths

Quick baseball-type release. Stands poised in the pocket. Extremely accurate on intermediate throws. Will scan one side of the field and quickly move to the other side if nothing is open. Good reading short passing concepts. Very precise ball placement. Excellent accuracy on crossing routes. Gets rid of the ball quickly on short passes and RPOs. Decisive on RPOs. Hits targets in stride on slants. Great field vision. High awareness to know where everyone is. Quality zip to all levels of the field. Will deliver a fastball to fit a throw into tight coverage. Puts touch on throws when needed. Quickly threads short seam passes to tight ends. Plus arm strength. Nice loft on downfield throws. Uses his eyes to move defenders. Can drop his arm angle to make a throw. Will evade pressure with a sudden move. Keeps his eyes downfield while avoiding pressure and stepping up in the pocket. Quick to throw with good accuracy when one the move. Used on designed runs. Extremely competitive and tough. Good patience and vision as a runner.

Weaknesses

General accuracy can be inconsistent aside from crosses and quick-strike throws. Sometimes doesn’t see the underneath defender on intermediate throws. Mechanics being off will usually lead to inaccuracy. Sometimes overshoots a target on RPOs. Gets some short passes deflected at the line of scrimmage. Deep ball will sometimes miss by a decent amount (and other times is right on the money).

Conclusion

Overall, Corral is a competitive quarterback that best fits in a quick-strike, spread attack with heavy RPO elements. His accuracy on first-read throws and general playmaking ability should draw Day 1 consideration for quarterback-needy teams.
