Strengths
Excellent feet and quickness. Very high motor. Great overall athleticism and twitch. Outstanding first-step burst and acceleration. Fast for an interior defensive lineman. Stout and plays low to create leverage. Possesses major pop in his hands. Extremely impactful side strike/club as a rusher. Very active hand usage in general. Accurate hand placement on the chest of offensive linemen. Will start his rush towards the outside shoulder and quickly make a move inside. Churns his feet to push the pocket on power rushes. Impressive bend crashing the pocket. Looks to get a hand up to deflect passes. Very strong hands to shed. Great ability to shed and make a tackle at the line of scrimmage. Quick to shed and change direction to the ball-carrier. Uses foot quickness to instantly side step a block at the snap. Quick eyes and reaction time to get off a block and plug the hole depending on which way the ball-carrier goes. Pulls out a spin move to get off blocks as a run defender. Excellent overall pursuit. Very strong wrapping up as a tackler. Athletic leaving his feet to increase range as a tackler. Mostly a three-technique but has experience lining up over the center or shaded over offensive tackles. Has rushed as a stand-up edge. Played great on undermanned defense in win over Ohio State (2024).
Weaknesses
Average arm length. Has a tougher time disengaging when turned and sealed. Sometimes a step slow finding the ball versus misdirection. Just a tick slow and/or out of reach on multiple tackle attempts versus Texas Tech (2024). Not as effective when opponents get a jump on him at the snap. Pushed around some when opponents latch on. Gets uprooted some by bigger opponents and double teams. Doesn’t seem prepared for and can be knocked down by side blocks/contact. Doesn’t always give all-out effort if not in close range of the ball.

Conclusion
Overall, Graham is a disruptive interior defensive lineman with outstanding quickness to play the run and get after the quarterback. While perhaps not a standalone game-wrecker, he can make a significant impact if consistently given one-on-one opportunities on a great defensive front.
