Strengths
Tremendous size and length. Top-tier hand size. Hands are extremely strong to attach. Excellent technique to connect and extend. Outstanding extension strength. Does a great job staying engaged. Very accurate pushing back an opponent and reconnecting. Able to lock out defenders to create a seal on the edge. Fluid turning his hips to seal off defenders. Great strength to drive defenders off the spot on down blocks. Very good overall quickness and impact on blockers. Can take down defensive tackles on doubles teams. Keeps a wide and balanced base. Very impressive athleticism at his size. Good mobility on cross-formation pulls. Quality accuracy working to the second level. Impressive speed and acceleration at his size. Imposing blocker in the open field. Will overpower smaller opponents in space. Moves very well with speed towards a target on perimeter screens. Shows determination to hold blocks and play through the whistle. Very active hands to check and counter in pass protection. Highly effective shielding the pocket when his hands and feet are paired together. Combination of length and accuracy allows him to keep rushers from capitalizing at the top of rushes or save him if slow early in pass sets. Very good moving his feet to pick up rushers on his inside shoulder in pass protection. Able to neutralize spin moves. Will calmly extend to connect versus slower rushes. Great feet to match blitzers as a pass blocker.
Weaknesses
Pure speed rushes give him issues. Sometimes needs to speed up his feet to mirror at the top of the rush. Will be beaten early on speed rushes and unable to slow it down enough with reach. Slower reacting to inside moves from edge rushers. Can get walked back by effective hand fighting from rushers. Could be better dealing with varied speeds by rushers. Has some instances where he lowers his eyes and looks more lumbering in pass protection. Sometimes feet are too slow and causes him to bend too far forward at the waist. Needs to hone in overall technique to be more consistent with too many misses in general. Will lose his anchor and get knocked down on some movement blocks. Only one season as a full-time starter.

Conclusion
Overall, Williams is a big offensive tackle with outstanding extension strength, huge hands, and impressive athleticism. He is already a very good run blocker, but more development and consistency are needed in pass protection to reach his potential.
