Great overall size. Tremendous overall strength. Impressive quickness snapping off stop routes. Shows suddenness breaking off slants with ideal release footwork. Good fluidity on quick out cuts. Shows quickness on pivot routes. Has suddenness breaking off routes in general. Exceptional acceleration at his size. Reliable target sitting in between defenders underneath versus zone coverage. High intelligence and awareness to settle in windows. Throttles down running across the field when facing zone coverage. Effective presenting a target on spot routes between the numbers. Able to win clean on inside releases. Works back to the quarterback. Impressive body control to attack the ball in the air with his hands. Very strong hands in contested coverage. Weaknesses

Has some issues separating versus man coverage and aggressive press coverage. Limited speed to threaten opponents vertically outside the numbers. Needs to learn how to consistently defeat the press. Will get stuck and lacks vertical burst on outside releases. Can have trouble separating from jams early in the route. Hands aren’t quite as good when needing to fully extend for throws. Should be a lot better sustaining blocks through the end of the play. Very inconsistent blocking inside.

Conclusion

Overall, Bech is a strong possession target with ideal size, impressive quickness, high intelligence, and reliable hands. Despite mostly playing outside at TCU, his skillset could be a better fit for the slot where his strengths will be highlighted more at the next level.
