Strengths
Huge arms and upper body. Excellent length for a guard. Legs are leaner and athletic. Consistently plays with a wide base. Great combination of strength and mobility driving opponents in the running game. Outstanding overall technique and will drive opponents several yards off the ball. Huge hands. Very powerful on impact. Can wipe out opponents on down blocks. Hands accurate and powerful when attaching. Latches on and drives defenders off the ball. Very strong hands to stay attached throughout the play. High effort to maul defensive linemen off the spot. Great strength to uproot bigger defensive linemen. Aggressive finishing blocks. Generates movement off the ball in short-yardage situations. Quick and accurate moving laterally to switch blocks. Very effective on reach blocks. Turns defenders to seal them inside on runs to the edge. Shoves a defender off the spot and smoothly works to the second level. Very nimble at his size when on the move. Very good mobility on interior pulls. Will level opponents on the edge as the lead blocker on outside pulls. Exceptional accuracy hitting smaller defenders in space on outside runs. Very good acceleration getting out in space. Great overall instincts. Helps to push the pile. Effort and hustle shown in springing a running back free from a scrum to spring a touchdown versus Minnesota (2025). Tremendous vision and awareness in pass protection. Soft feet to anchor down in pass protection after getting his hands on an opponent. Moves his feet very well to mirror rushers. Quick to slide his feet when switching in pass protection. Gets his hands on rushers and tries pushing them out. Excellent extension strength. Phenomenal impact power as a pass blocker to wipe out a late blitzer with a shove. Very impactful connecting from the side to help as a pass blocker. Quick closing off inside rushes. Used as a puller in pass protection. Hustles to the action after completions. Mostly played left guard but has starting experience at right guard.
Weaknesses
Has some misses trying to engage versus twitchier opponents at the snap. Feet can slide out from underneath him just a bit when engaging in pass protection. Could slide his feet and stay square rather than pushing rushers from the side at times. Strength allows him to get away with it but would like to see him move his feet rather than reach dealing with looping rushers. Could sometimes be more patient to anchor down and create a wall rather than being aggressive trying to meet rushers.
