Strengths
Huge build for the interior. Keeps a wide base in pass protection. Calm coming out of his stance into pass sets. Immediately gets his hands in position off the ball as a pass blocker. Very effective keeping his hands inside and combating in pass protection. Outstanding strength to hold his ground on initial contact as a pass blocker. Doesn’t get pushed back by power rushes. Extremely strong hands latching onto rushers. Immediately extends and powers down rushers off the ball. Will swat down the reach of rushers and squash them if knocked to the ground. Tremendous overall technique in pass protection. Great vision and awareness as a pass blocker. Very good lateral quickness to mirror rushers. Shows quick feet at his size to meeting stalk rushers. Good accuracy sliding as a pass blocker and latching onto opponents. Extreme raw power and will throw a defensive lineman off the spot as a run blocker. Very effective drive blocker when he attaches. Has shown he will drive opponents at least several yards down the field. Consistently looks to finish opponents by getting them to the ground. Powerful taking out defensive linemen on double teams. Strong going toe-to-toe with bigger nose tackles. Connects on pulls and seamlessly turns defenders to create a lane. Good accuracy sealing off the backside defender on pin and pulls. Will obliterate smaller defenders on the edge. Has been used on motion to block. Can wipe out defensive backs when he connects in the open field. Shoves an opponent to the ground and then tells them about it. Primarily a left guard but saw snaps at right guard. Kicked outside to tackle in heavy formations.
Weaknesses
Could be more consistently aggressive and impactful off the ball as a run blocker. Average quickness and agility on reach blocks. Slow working to the second level on combination blocks. Linebackers can cross his face from the second level on outside runs. Sometimes gets too upright into contact hitting on the second level. Doesn’t consistently connect with desired force versus defensive linemen for his size when on the move. More plodding with average speed and acceleration out in space. Quicker rushers can get around him. Can struggle to move his feet in front of quicker blitzers.

Conclusion
Overall, Ioane is a big, powerful guard who excels in pass protection and can finish opponents as a run blocker. Limited mobility makes him a better fit for a scheme with limited responsibilities reaching and blocking opponents in space.
