Gritty overall play style. Very big hands with tremendous strength latching on. Extremely strong hands to stay attached. Quick and efficient on combination blocks. Does an exceptional job moving his feet and shielding off defenders on the second level while working downhill. Good mobility turning his hips and switching at the second level. Excellent raw strength on down blocks. Very strong hands to control smaller defenders on the edge. Good quickness and strength on reach blocks. Great mobility and technique pulling inside. Impressive smoothness and acceleration getting to the perimeter. Terrific awareness as a blocker in space on screen passes. Natural mirror ability in pass protection. Quick first step into pass sets. Weaknesses

Below-average length at offensive tackle. Can get top heavy and lean forward as a pass blocker. Gets too forward leaning in general. Lack of length can lead to him getting out of control moving his feet and trying to reach rushers. Sometimes sets too shallow and will allow rushers to get around him. Can be a tick slow reacting to and reaching faster blitzers. Sometimes unprepared for stunts. Would like to see him keep his base underneath him at times when engaging as a run blocker. Will lack pop as a run blocker when gets top heavy and doesn’t have his feet underneath. Could have a bit more control latching on for reach blocks at times.

Conclusion

Overall, Zuhn is a versatile, gritty offensive lineman with mobility in the running game and an ability to match in pass protection. The concern will be the lack of length causing more issues as a pass blocker at the next level, but Zuhn showing very well at center should boost his floor.
