The 2025 Pro Bowl Games rosters were announced last week, but there were some obvious snubs. Chief among them are two players who should arguably be named NFL All-Pros. Our latest YouTube video highlights the All-Pro caliber campaigns for Bears cornerback Nahshon Wright and Eagles defensive tackle Jordan Davis.
Nahshon Wright: The Turnover Leader
Coming from out of almost nowhere, Wright leads the NFL with eight takeaways for an emergent Chicago defense and team this season. The pick-six while in coverage against Vikings All-Pro wide receiver Justin Jefferson in Week 1 was a sign of a theme for the former third-round pick this year—taking the ball away in timely situations for the Bears.
Wright had a streak of five straight games with a takeaway, capped by a key forced fumble and recovery against Eagles star quarterback Jalen Hurts on a Brotherly Shove during the Bears’ huge Black Friday win at Philly.
Bears defensive backs coach Al Harris, who was with Wright in Dallas when he was drafted, has been key in the lengthy cornerback’s development. Even Packers star Micah Parsons posted on social media that the division rival was robbed of a Pro Bowl, so you know it’s true.
Jordan Davis: An Immovable Object
A very underrated defender over his first two NFL seasons, Davis has emerged as an undeniable force in the center of the Eagles defense in 2025. Davis has the most run stuffs in the league, has sacked quarterbacks 4.5 times, blocked a field goal that he took to the house himself to prevent a Rams victory, and deflected three passes in a win over the Lions.
The former first-round pick has been named both NFC Special Teams Player of the Week and NFC Defensive Player of the Week. He routinely takes on blocks and absorbs ball-carriers in the backfield or at the line of scrimmage. If you turn on the tape, his play just screams superstar.
Despite not being named a Pro Bowl defender, Davis should certainly be a 2025 NFL All-Pro.
