2026 NFL free agency begins next week, and the latest YouTube video from Wolf Sports hits on five undervalued players set to hit the open market. If you look around at free agent rankings, you likely won’t see these guys as highly ranked as they arguably should be.
Four on offense
We know the skill positions on offense typically get most of the headlines. We hit on one each from quarterback, running back, wide receiver, and tight end—highlighting hidden gems. The most high-profile name is Jaguars running back Travis Etienne Jr., who might get a bigger deal than many expect (and perhaps for a team you might not expect) as an electric offensive weapon. But don’t sleep on tight end Isaiah Likely being a major value after a 2025 campaign that was ultimately relatively disappointing due to a broken foot over the summer.
The premier defender
Eagles linebacker Nakobe Dean isn’t getting nearly enough love ahead of free agency. You can make an easy case for the 25-year-old Georgia product to be the top defender available. It was very evident on film the type of impact he made when he got healthy and worked into his full-time role for Philadelphia last season. Dean excels against the run, is like a missile on blitzes, and possesses the leadership and mindset you want in middle of a defense.
