YouTube Video: The Five Best Rosters in the NFL for 2025

Many factors go into winning big in the NFL, but you can’t win a Super Bowl without a strong roster. In this week’s YouTube video from Wolf Sports, we dive into the five best rosters in the NFL for 2025.

Honorable Mentions

You can argue that Josh Allen’s presence in Buffalo as a team-carrier should push the Bills into the top five, but they just miss the cut. Should they be highly aggressive in trying to add disgruntled Cowboys star Micah Parsons to potentially put them over the top in the AFC? The Broncos are another roster to watch, especially if rookie RJ Harvey and veteran J.K. Dobbins can help get the ground game going.

No. 5: Buccaneers

It starts with the wide receivers for the Bucs—with Mike Evans, Chris Godwin Jr., first-round pick Emeka Egbuka, Jalen McMillan, and rookie Tez Johnson being one of the most loaded groups in the league. There’s also Bucky Irving and the ground game behind a potent offensive line. However, Godwin, McMillan, and All-Pro left tackle Tristan Wirfs are all looking to get healthy.

No. 4: Chiefs

A case can be made for these next four teams being the clear top four rosters in the NFL for 2025, with the order potentially varying. Head coach Andy Reid and general manager Brett Veach know how to build a championship squad—and we’ll see if the rest of the NFL regrets allowing Kansas City to get left tackle Josh Simmons at the No. 32 pick in the draft.

No. 3: Ravens

Headlined by a pick-your-poison of trying to stop Lamar Jackson or Derrick Henry, the Ravens are among the NFL’s elite rosters this season with a great shot at a deep playoff run. The skill group for Jackson is incredibly deep and versatile, and the defense features a secondary of all first-round picks.

No. 2: Lions

Lions head coach Dan Campbell just said he feels like this roster is the best they’ve had from top to bottom. That’s great to hear for a club hammered by injuries in 2024. General manager Brad Holmes has done an outstanding job of constructing the roster, which includes a dynamic offense and a stingy group on defense.

No. 1: Eagles

Finally, the defending Super Bowl champion Eagles are the NFL’s best roster for 2025. The offensive line remains a backbone of the team and should allow Jalen Hurts, Saquon Barkley, A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith and company to do damage. And the defense has difference-makers at all three levels.
