AJ Dillon suffered a fractured rib in Saturday night’s loss, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Dillon would have faced long odds of being cleared for next week, but Green Bay’s season coming to a shocking end will obviously have him healthy well in advance of the offseason programs. The 2020 second-round pick should be a key part of the offense next season no matter who ends up playing quarterback.

The Packers officially activated A.J Dillon from the reserve/COVID-19 list.
This was the expectation from earlier this week. Dillon was hit pretty hard by the virus, missing a few weeks. It’s good to see the rookie running back feeling better and back with his teammates.

A.J. Dillon has tested positive for COVID-19.
Unless this happens to be a false-positive, Dillon is obviously out this Thursday night against the 49ers. Dillon's positive test was yesterday, and he played in yesterday's game versus the Vikings, but thankfully there has not been much evidence of on-field transmission of the virus. However, those that have been around Dillon often—such as those in the running backs room—were theoretically at a larger risk.

The Packers have selected Boston College running back A.J. Dillon with the No. 62 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.
This is a somewhat surprising selection with Aaron Jones coming off a breakout campaign, but the powerful rookie will step right in as a short-yardage option for Green Bay. Despite having Aaron Rodgers, the Packers are certainly committed to the running game under Matt LaFleur, and Dillon is immediately a touchdown-dependent FLEX play on one of the NFC’s best teams. Obviously, this pick is a drain on the value of the aforementioned Jones.
