WOLF SPORTS PROJECTION

Alex Erickson | Commanders WR

The Texans officially signed Alex Erickson.

Erickson is a strong factor in the return game, but he can also contribute at receiver and set a career-high with 43 receptions in 2018. In his five seasons with the Bengals, Erickson never missed a game, starting 14 times at receiver among his 80 total games played.

Alex Erickson | Commanders WR

Alex Erickson keeps it going in Week 8.

Erickson caught six passes for 97 yards against the Rams, and the performance followed up his eight catches for 137 yards last week versus the Jaguars. Chunk plays of 48 yards and 52 yards have certainly been huge in boosting Erickson's stat line, and the huge plays are not something you should expect every week, but Erickson is undoubtedly playing well right now. The 52-yard reception versus the Rams came against All-Pro cornerback Jalen Ramsey deep down the field. It'll be interesting to see how Erickson performs coming off the bye in Week 10 with A.J. Green (ankle) likely to return, but he's someone to keep an eye on and look into exploring on the waiver wire.

Alex Erickson | Commanders WR

Alex Erickson (concussion) is out for the rest of today's game.

Erickson had one reception for seven yards before leaving against the Cardinals. His loss is also a blow to the special teams of the Bengals. Hopefully Erickson is feeling better soon.

Alex Erickson | Commanders WR

Alex Erickson caught six passes for 63 yards in Sunday's loss to Pittsburgh.

Erickson led the team in receiving and brought in all six of his targets, but it wasn't enough to pull off an upset. Cincinnati's main returner finishes the season with 20 grabs for 167 yards and three rushes for 22 yards. He won't be on the fantasy radar to begin the 2019 season.

Alex Erickson | Commanders WR

Alex Erickson caught two passes for 35 yards in Sunday's loss to Cleveland.

Erickson also continues to operate as the team's primary returner on kicks and punts, but he will be nothing more than a very deep desperation FLEX for the season finale.

Alex Erickson | Commanders WR

Alex Erickson catches three passes in Bengals' win.

Erickson gained 23 yards on his three Week 15 receptions. His value might increase if Tyler Boyd (knee) misses more time, but he's a risky play in fantasy championships regardless of Boyd's status.

Alex Erickson | Commanders WR

Alex Erickson rushes for 14 yards in Week 14 loss.

Erickson wasn't targeted, but he received a carry to go along with his normal return duties. He isn't on the fantasy radar.

Alex Erickson | Commanders WR

Alex Erickson gets one offensive touch in Week 13.

Erickson had one carry for no yards against the Broncos. He also lost a fumble on a punt return. Erickson is not a fantasy option at the moment.

Alex Erickson | Commanders WR

Alex Erickson held without a catch in loss to the Ravens.

Erickson was targeted just once, as Andy Dalton struggled on 36 pass attempts. Whether or not A.J. Green (toe) is active for Week 12, Erickson won't be a highly recommended fantasy option.

Alex Erickson | Commanders WR

Alex Erickson catches one pass in Week 8 win.

It went for five yards. Cincinnati's main returner isn't a recommended fantasy option heading into the bye week.

Alex Erickson | Commanders WR

Alex Erickson caught two passes for eight yards in Sunday's loss to the Steelers.

Erickson saw extended run with John Ross (groin) still out, but he isn't a recommended fantasy option heading into a matchup with the Chiefs.

Alex Erickson | Commanders WR

Alex Erickson caught three passes for 24 yards in Sunday's win over the Dolphins.

Erickson saw extended playing time with John Ross (groin) inactive, but he isn't a recommended fantasy option behind A.J. Green and Tyler Boyd. The 25-year-old will look to make an impact against the Steelers next Sunday.

Alex Erickson | Commanders WR

Alex Erickson gets two touches in Week 4.

Erickson had a rush for eight yards and a reception for eight yards against the Falcons. He's a real-life contributor for the Bengals but is not a recommended fantasy option at the moment.

Alex Erickson | Commanders WR

The Bengals signed Alex Erickson to a two-year contract extension.

Erickson's contract was set to expire after the season, so this ties him with Cincinnati through the 2020 season. Erickson chips in on offense and is a solid contributor on special teams, but he's off the fantasy radar at the moment.

Alex Erickson | Commanders WR

Alex Erickson catches one pass against the Bears.

Erickson had only one target in the game, and his reception went for nine yards. His role simply isn't big enough to trust him in fantasy lineups.

Alex Erickson | Commanders WR

Alex Erickson catches one pass in Week 12 win.

It went for 18 yards. Erickson is primarily a return man for Cincinnati, and he's unlikely to make a fantasy impact down the stretch.

Alex Erickson | Commanders WR

Alex Erickson scores first career touchdown in Bengals' win.

Erickson caught two passes (on two targets) for 42 yards and a touchdown in Denver against the Broncos, with the touchdown was a 29-yarder coming in the second quarter after he beat Broncos cornerback Bradley Roby. The former Wisconsin Badger has shown flashes all season and should be a part of the Bengals' plans moving forward, but he's not a recommended fantasy option quite yet.

Alex Erickson | Commanders WR

Alex Erickson gets three touches in Week 10.

Erickson caught one pass for four yards and carried two times for six yards. He's a reliable player for the Bengals, but Erickson doesn't get enough work to be a fantasy option right now.

Alex Erickson | Commanders WR

Alex Erickson carries once in Week 8.

Erickson did not get any targets in the passing game, but he had a 14-yard carry against the Colts. He did fumble twice in the game, however, losing one. Erickson has some long-term upside, but he's not a fantasy option at the moment.

Alex Erickson | Commanders WR

Alex Erickson catches one pass in Week 7.

Erickson gained 22 yards on a pass over the middle behind a zone defense on his lone target of the game. He's someone that could get some more targets moving forward, but Erickson is not a recommended fantasy option at the moment.

Alex Erickson | Commanders WR

Alex Erickson gets two touches in Week 5.

Erickson had a -6-yard carry and a 12-yard reception. He's a contributor to the Bengals, but he's not trustworthy in fantasy lineups.

Alex Erickson | Commanders WR

Alex Erickon flashes in Bengals' Week 2 loss.

The former Wisconsin Badger caught four of six targets for 62 yards against the Texans, including a long of 37 yards. Erickson played well on offense in the absence of Tyler Boyd, but he also made an impact on special teams and showed his speed and quickness there. He returned two kicked for 76 yards and four punts for 57 yards. Erickson is not an recommended fantasy option right now.

Alex Erickson | Commanders WR

Alex Erickson catches all three targets in Week 2 preseason game.

The second-year undrafted receiver had three receptions for 43 yards against the Chiefs. Erickson did also have the long pass of the night for Cincinnati, a 31-yarder from A.J. McCarron. Erickson is definitely in the mix for a roster spot, though he's unlikely to deliver 2017 fantasy value.

Alex Erickson | Commanders WR

Alex Erickson leads Bengals in receiving in Week 1 of the preseason.

The 2016 undrafted receiver from Wisconsin had three receptions for 50 yards against Tampa Bay. He's looking to make the Bengals' final roster, but he'll need to keep playing well to crack it.
