Allen Lazard | Packers WR

Allen Lazard has been activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list.

Lazard was a close contact of Davante Adams last week, but he's now allowed to return. The Packers won't have Robert Tonyan (knee) for the rest of the year, but their depth chart at wide receiver should at least be all full strength in Week 9 versus the Chiefs assuming Adams and Marquez Valdes-Scantling (hamstring) are also back.

Allen Lazard | Packers WR

Allen Lazard has been placed on the COVID-19 list.

Another player being placed on the list was unfortunately feared when Davante Adams was placed on it yesterday, and that's what happened with Lazard. Now Green Bay is likely to be without their top two wideouts for a huge NFC clash versus Arizona, and they'll be down to Randall Cobb, Equanimeous St. Brown, and Amari Rodgers as the top three receivers if Marquez Valdes-Scantling (hamstring) isn't back from injured reserve.

Allen Lazard | Packers WR

Allen Lazard (abdomen) is officially active for Week 11.

After missing the last six games, Lazard is back from his core muscle injury. The expectation is that Lazard might be somewhat limited and on a pitch count, so you’ll ideally be able to wait before you consider getting him in your fantasy lineup.

Allen Lazard | Packers WR

Allen Lazard (abdomen) is questionable for Week 11.

Lazard being activated off IR this week suggests he will play on Sunday, but that's obviously less than a certainty—especially considering how slowly Green Bay can be about players returning from injury. Hopefully we have some clarity by Sunday morning with the Packers kicking off in the late slate.

Allen Lazard | Packers WR

Allen Lazard has been activated from injured reserve.

Lazard missed all of October and most of November, but he's set to return one week before Thanksgiving. Marquez Valdes-Scantling has performed well as of late, but Lazard will give the Green Bay receiving group a boost and is worth considering on the waiver wire where available.e

Allen Lazard | Packers WR

Allen Lazard (core muscle surgery) is out indefinitely.

ESPN's Adam Schefter says Lazard underwent the surgery already. Lazard is coming off a career-best 146-yard performance in Week 3, so this is very bad timing for the former undrafted receiver. We hope to see Lazard back on the field later this season, but his timeline is up in the air.

Allen Lazard | Packers WR

Allen Lazard will see a core muscle specialist.

ESPN's Rob Demovsky reports that Lazard will see core muscle specialist Dr. William Meyers to determine the next course of action for Lazard's injury. This obviously does not sound good, and it looks like Lazard is set to miss multiple weeks with this issue—which is very unfortunate coming off his best career game last week.

Allen Lazard | Packers WR

Allen Lazard (core) officially did not practice today.

This appears to be a knee injury, so it's something to keep an eye on. But keep in mind this is the first official practice of the week for the Packers, as the teams plays on Monday Night Football for Week 4.

Allen Lazard | Packers WR

The Packers tendered Allen Lazard.

Lazard is an exclusive rights free agent, so he isn't going anywhere barring a surprising trade. Lazard emerged as a favorite of Aaron Rodgers last season, and he'll have an inside track on winning a large role for Green Bay in 2020.

Allen Lazard | Packers WR

Allen Lazard (ankle) was officially limited in today's practice.

Lazard is expected to be fine for Sunday's NFC title game, and a limited practice to start the week is a good sign.

Allen Lazard | Packers WR

Allen Lazard (ankle) did not return to the Divisional Round.

Lazard was said to be available to play in the second half after injuring his ankle in the first 30 minutes, but he did not appear on offense after the injury. We would think Lazard is good to go for the NFC Championship Game next week against the 49ers.

Allen Lazard | Packers WR

Allen Lazard (ankle) is officially questionable to return against the Seahawks.

Lazard was injured while run blocking for Aaron Jones, and he's headed to the locker room for further evaluation. Lazard didn't appear to be limping too badly on his way from the sidelines, so hopefully he's able to return to this evening's Divisional Round game.

Allen Lazard | Packers WR

Allen Lazard catches one pass in NFL debut.

Lazard gained seven yards on his lone reception against the Lions. The undrafted rookie from Iowa State stands at six-foot-five and has upside at that size, but he's just someone to keep in mind at this point and is not a must-own in dynasty leagues.
