The Cardinals have selected Massachusetts wide receiver Andy Isabella with the No. 62 pick (second round) in the 2019 NFL Draft.
Isabella is certainly one of the more intriguing prospects in this year’s class, as he has the play style and athletic profile of a perimeter receiver, but his size (five-foot-nine with short arms and small hands) would seem to suggest his best spot is in the slot. That said, the 4.31 speed could get him on the field early on, and being a situational deep threat might be his most realistic shot at instant fantasy success in 2019. We’ll know how Arizona wants to use Isabella soon enough, but long term, the small-school star might reach his full potential as a souped-up Wes Welker-like weapon inside in Kliff Kingsbury's offense.
