WOLF SPORTS PROJECTION

Bryan Edwards | Falcons WR

The Raiders have placed Bryan Edwards on the reserve/COVID-19 list.

Edwards caught a touchdown last week in the win over Cleveland, so it's unfortunate he won't get a chance to build on that for a big game against Denver today. Zay Jones and DeSean Jackson will boost get a boost as FLEX fliers for Week 16.

Bryan Edwards is off the Week 9 injury report.

After missing the past four games with a foot/ankle issue, the rookie receiver will be back for the Raiders this Sunday against the Chargers. Edwards will give Derek Carr a bigger target to utilize on the outside.

Bryan Edwards (ankle) is out for Week 4.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport says that Edwards is week-to-week with the ankle injury suffered last Sunday against the Patriots. Thankfully, the Raiders are deep at wide receiver, but now both Edwards and first-round pick Henry Ruggs (knee) are dealing with injuries.

The Raiders have selected South Carolina wide receiver Bryan Edwards with the No. 81 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Edwards is a tough, physical receiver that played great against SEC competition, so the Raiders have to feel good about this pick on Day 2. Vegas will hope Edwards can step right in and earn a starting job, but a lack of pre-draft buzz may carry over into the fantasy world where the rookie has the potential to be a bargain compared to some of his peers. FLEX value in Year 1 is possible, but the Raiders have a crowded receiving group, and Edwards will have to earn a role. You can read our full scouting report on Edwards via the link below.
