WOLF SPORTS PROJECTION

Damion Willis | Washington WR

The Broncos are signing Damion Willis, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Willis caught nine passes for the Bengals a couple of seasons ago, and he will now hope to make an impression to stick around on a crowded Denver depth chart. The former undrafted rookie will turn 24 next month.

The Browns claimed Damion Willis off waivers.

Willis caught nine passes as a rookie with the Bengals, and he will stay in the AFC North as Cleveland looks to add depth at receiver. Particularly on run-first offense, Willis wouldn't be a recommended fantasy option if he makes the team.

The Bengals waived Damion Willis.

Willis worked his way as an undrafted rookie and entered last season as a starter for the Bengals, but the team is moving in another direction. It's tough luck for Willis, as Cincinnati has one of the deepest receiving corps in the league, but the good news is that he gets an early jump on potentially finding a new landing spot this summer. If he doesn't make a final roster elsewhere, Willis could land back on the Bengals practice squad this year.

The Bengals promoted Damion Willis to the active roster.

With Auden Tate (knee) going to injured reserve, Willis is getting another opportunity on the 53-man roster. Willis is more of a dynasty-league name to keep in mind than a highly recommended redraft league pickup.

Willis is being waived to make room for John Ross to officially be activated off injured reserve. Willis should land back with Cincinnati's practice squad if he clears waivers.

The Bengals promoted Damion Willis off the practice squad.

Willis was a starter at receiver to open the season for the Bengals, and now he's back on the active roster after spending some time on the practice squad. The undrafted rookie from Troy is someone to keep an eye on, but he's not a highly recommended pickup yet.

The Bengals waived Damion Willis.

Willis went from undrafted to a starting receiver as a rookie this season, but his playing time had decreased with Auden Tate emerging on the outside. Expect Willis to land on Cincinnati's practice squad if he clears waivers.

Damion Willis | Washington WR

Damion Willis has earned a starting receiver job for the Bengals.

Willis is an undrafted rookie out of Troy that put together an excellent summer and will start in place of the injured A.J. Green to open the year for Cincinnati. Willis is a former Last Chance U star that was named first-team All-Sun Belt as as senior, and he has red-zone upside at six-foot-three. The rookie has an opportunity to potentially provide some early-season fantasy value, but he's not a highly recommended player to draft.
