WOLF SPORTS PROJECTION

Darius Slayton | Giants WR

Darius Slayton is on the reserve/COVID-19 list.

New York will be down their entire depth chart at wide receiver aside from Kenny Golladay this weekend, so Jake Fromm and/or Mike Glennob will again be in a difficult spot. We’d anticipate Slayton being cleared by the season finale.

Darius Slayton | Giants WR

Darius Slayton (hamstring) is officially active against the Panthers.

Slayton missed three games with his hamstring issue, but he’s back in Week 7 and should have a sizable role on the outside for Daniel Jones and the Giants with other players banged up.

Darius Slayton | Giants WR

Darius Slayton (hamstring) will not play on Sunday.

Both Slayton and Shepard are dealing with hamstring injuries, and they’ll both be out, leaving Daniel Jones and the Giants shorthanded facing a stingy Saints defense in Week 4.

Darius Slayton | Giants WR

Darius Slayton (hamstring) rule out for rest of today.

Slayton had one reception for eight yards before leaving against the Falcons, and it's not a great sign that he's been ruled out already. Hopefully Slayton doesn't miss much more time moving forward after today.

Darius Slayton | Giants WR

Darius Slayton (foot/ankle) is out for the rest of this evening.

Hopefully this isn’t too serious and Slayton is just being held out for the remainder of the final preseason game as a precaution, but more information on his status should be available along with the Evan Engram news whenever it’s available. The Giants skill position group has been pretty decimated this summer.

Darius Slayton | Giants WR

Darius Slayton (shoulder) has returned for the Giants.

Slayton didn't miss too much time with the shoulder issue, and it's good to see that he's back in there in the first half.

Darius Slayton | Giants WR

Darius Slayton (shoulder) is officially questionable to return for the Giants.

Slayton made a nice catch over the middle on the first drive of the game against the Eagles, but he took a shot to the arm/shoulder and went immediately to the sideline. We'll update you when more information becomes available on his status.

Darius Slayton | Giants WR

Darius Slayton (foot) is officially active for the Giants.

Slayton was officially listed as questionable entering today, but there wasn’t much doubt about his status against Washington. Slayton should see a good number of quality targets from Daniel Jones today.

Darius Slayton | Giants WR

Darius Slayton (foot) is officially listed as questionable for Week 6.

We expect Slayton will be fine for Sunday against Washington, but check back in on gameday to ensure that he's active if you're planning to use him in your lineup.

Darius Slayton | Giants WR

Darius Slayton (knee) has returned for the Giants.

Slayton had been out for most of the game with his knee issue, but he's suddenly back out there as the Giants attempt to get a go-ahead score to avoid overtime. It's good to see the promising rookie receiver back out there.

Darius Slayton | Giants WR

Darius Slayton (knee) is officially questionable to return for the Giants.

Slayton appeared to get rolled up on earlier, but hopefully he's able to get back out there soon. The Giants are currently in a shootout with the Redskins.

Darius Slayton | Giants WR

Darius Slayton (hamstring) has been ruled out for Week 1.

Slayton didn't practice all week with his hamstring injury. This is a blow to the depth of the Giants' thin receiving corps, but Slayton isn't really on the fantasy radar at the moment.

Darius Slayton | Giants WR

The Giants have selected Auburn wide receiver Darius Slayton in the fifth round of the 2019 NFL Draft.

Slayton had an excellent pre-draft process with a 4.39 40-yard dash and 40.5-inch vertical, so the upside is clearly there on a roster that doesn't have any real proven options behind Sterling Shepard and Golden Tate. For his career, Slayton averaged 20.3 yards per reception at Auburn, including five scores in each of the past two seasons. Fantasy owners should have him on their radar in dynasty leagues.
