The Chiefs waived Daurice Fountain.
Fountain is victim to the numbers game in the Kansas City receiving corps. For now, Fountain is off the fantasy radar.
10/12/21 - 02:41 PM ET
The Chiefs are signing Reece Fountain.
The former Colts receiver will look to win a role in the Kansas City offense this summer. Fountain played in five games for Indy last season.

The Colts waived Daurice Fountain.
Fountain is being waived to make roster space for Michael Pittman Jr. being activated from injured reserve. If Fountain goes unclaimed, there's probably a pretty good chance he'll return to Indy, potentially on the practice squad.
10/31/20 - 11:11 AM ET
Daurice Fountain suffered a dislocated and fractured ankle, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
This is tough to hear, and Rapoport says Fountain will have surgery right away after the injury was just recently suffered in today's practice. Fountain is almost certainly headed for injured reserve, and we wish him the best of luck on surgery and rehab.

Daurice Fountain suffers non-contact injury in practice.
This is terrible luck for Fountain, who is entering his second NFL season after being selected in the fifth round of last year's draft. We'll update you as more information becomes available, but the cart is out and it sounds like it might be a long-term injury for Fountain.

The Colts have placed Daurice Fountain not the NFI List.
No explanation has been provided by the team, but Fountain will hopefully get on the field soon to make his case for a roster spot behind T.Y. Hilton, Devin Funchess, Parris Campbell, and Deon Cain.
7/22/19 - 09:39 AM ET
Daurice Fountain did not catch a pass in the Divisional Round.
Fountain dropped a would-be touchdown late in the game in what was basically garbage time, and it appeared a flag that was tossed might have thrown him off a bit. It was a good sign that he was able to get open, at least. The rookie receiver did not catch any passes during the season, so hopefully he puts this drop behind him heading into the offseason. He's a deep-league dynasty option in fantasy leagues for now.
1/12/19 - 08:12 PM ET
The Colts signed Reece Fountain to the practice squad.
Indy was able to get the fifth-round rookie receiver through waivers, and now they'll develop him on the practice squad. Fountain has an opportunity to work his way into a role on the 53-man roster for the Colts.

The Colts waived Reece Fountain.
Fountain was drafted in the fifth round this year and played well in the preseason, so this is a bit of a surprise; though the Colts just acquired receiver Marcus Johnson from the Seahawks. The Colts will likely try to get Fountain o the practice squad.
9/1/18 - 04:22 PM ET
The Colts have selected Northern Iowa wide receiver Daurice Fountain with the 159th pick (fifth round) of the 2018 NFL Draft.
Fountain was a surprise Combine snub in February, but he was great in the showcase games leading up to the draft. The small-school product has good size and can make some downfield plays—which he could have a chance to do quickly with the receiver-needy Colts. He could be worth a late-round flier in fantasy drafts as a potential year-one contributor across from T.Y. Hilton.
