WOLF SPORTS PROJECTION

David Moore | Broncos WR

David Moore is signing with the Broncos practice squad.

Moore will get a great opportunity in Denver considering their injuries at wide receiver, and it wouldn’t be a surprise if he was active as soon as Week 4. Rookie Seth Williams is another name to watch on the practice squad.

David Moore | Broncos WR

The Panthers released David Moore.

Moore falls victim to the post-cut-day roster cuts, but he shouldn't take long to land with another team. Perhaps his former Seahawks squad will be interested in bringing him back as an outside deep threat.

David Moore | Broncos WR

The Panthers signed David Moore.

Moore will help make up for the loss of Curtis Samuel, but he's more of an outside presence and downfield threat after making plays for Russell Wilson and the Seahawks over the past three seasons. Moore is coming off a career-high six touchdowns last year.

David Moore | Broncos WR

David Moore (shoulder) was officially a full participant in today's practice.

Moore looks on track to make his season debut this Sunday against the Saints, but rookie D.K. Metcalf has emerged as a clear starter over the first two games of the season. Moore is not on the fantasy radar outside of very deep leagues.

David Moore | Broncos WR

David Moore (shoulder) is going to be out "a while."

Moore was hurt in yesterday's practice, and Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll says he won't be ready for the start of the season. It sounds like this could be an injury that lasts several weeks, but this basically puts Moore off the late-round radar in fantasy drafts either way. Second-round rookie D.K. Metcalf is dealing with a knee injury himself, but he's expected to be ready for Week 1 and is now essentially a lock to be a starter. Jaron Brown might also see more snaps while Moore is out.

David Moore | Broncos WR

David Moore held without a catch in loss to the Cowboys.

Moore wasn't targeted. Despite 17.1 yards per reception and five touchdowns in the regular season, the 23-year-old will almost certainly have heavy competition for the No. 3 receiver role next season. And for what it's worth, Moore had just four receptions for 32 scoreless yards since the start of December.

David Moore | Broncos WR

David Moore catches two passes against the Cardinals.

Moore gained 16 yards on his two receptions in the Seahawks' Week 17 victory. Moore's regular season ends with 26 receptions for 445 yards and five touchdowns. As a receiver for Russell Wilson, he should have opportunities to make some big plays down the field this January.

David Moore | Broncos WR

David Moore catches one pass in Week 16.

Moore gained seven yards on his lone reception against the Chiefs. Moore went up for a spectacular leaping catch in the end zone, but he couldn't come down with the ball with two feet in bounds. He isn't a recommended fantasy option in the regular season finale next week against Arizona.

David Moore | Broncos WR

David Moore catches one pass in Week 15 loss.

It went for nine yards. Moore could make some plays next week in a potential shootout against the Chiefs, but fantasy owners will hopefully have other options.

David Moore | Broncos WR

David Moore held without a catch in MNF victory.

Optimistically, Moore (five targets) was the only player on the team other than Tyler Lockett (six targets) to get multiple passes thrown in his direction, but he isn't a strong fantasy play down the stretch. The Seahawks take on the 49ers in Week 15.

David Moore | Broncos WR

David Moore scores in Seahawks' win.

Moore caught a 35-yard touchdown on a deep ball where he made a nice one-handed grab while shielding the defender with his other hand. It was a clutch fourth-quarter play that tied the game in an eventual Seattle victory in Carolina. Moore also had a 54-yard reception in the game, and overall he had four receptions for 103 yards and a touchdown. Moore offers upside as a FLEX option, but he also has a low floor.

David Moore | Broncos WR

David Moore catches four passes against the Packers.

Moore gained 57 yards on his four receptions in Seattle's Thursday night win. He made some big plays in the second half, including a key 27-yard reception down the sideline on a third down; it was initially ruled incomplete but after a Seattle challenge it was deemed the Moore had possession of the ball long enough for it to be a catch. This was a good bounce back for Moore after being held to 16 yards in each of the past two games, but he's a better real-life asset for Seattle than he is a reliable fantasy option right now.

David Moore | Broncos WR

David Moore catches one pass in Week 10.

Moore gained 16 yards on his lone reception versus the Rams. He could've had another reception for a first down, but the pass was slightly underthrown by Russell Wilson. Moore has some touchdown upside but he's difficult to trust in fantasy lineups at the moment.

David Moore | Broncos WR

David Moore catches two passes in Seahawks' loss.

Moore gained 16 yards on his two receptions against the Chargers. Moore had an opportunity to catch a touchdown on Seattle's final offensive play, needing eight points to likely push the game to overtime, but he couldn't come up with it after the pass was slightly deflected and affected him trying to catch it in the end zone—it looked like a drop, but it was tipped. This snaps Moore's streak of three straight games with a touchdown, but he'll look to bounce back next week against the Rams.

David Moore | Broncos WR

David Moore leads the Seahawks in Week 8 receiving.

Moore caught four passes (on four targets) for 97 yards and a touchdown, leading the Seahawks in receptions, targets, and yardage (and tied for touchdowns) against the Lions. The touchdown was a juggling catch for 15 yards. This makes it three straight weeks with a touchdown and four scores in the last three games for Moore. The 2017 seventh-round pick continues to play well, and he's worth a pickup if you're looking for a receiver. He's at least a solid hold in dynasty leagues.

David Moore | Broncos WR

David Moore scores in Seahawks' win.

Last year's seventh-round pick has shown flashes his first two years in the NFL, and he continues to play well with his third touchdown in two weeks. Moore caught two passes for 47 yards and a touchdown along with one carry for five yards against the Raiders. The touchdown was a 19-yarder where he got open in the back of the end zone after a Russell Wilson scramble. Moore isn't a highly-recommended fantasy option yet, but it's good to see him playing well.

David Moore | Broncos WR

David Moore caught two passes for 39 yards in Sunday's win over the Cardinals.

Moore has appeared in all four games to start the season, but the receptions were the first of his career. The 23-year-old is unlikely to turn into a fantasy contributor behind Tyler Lockett and Doug Baldwin.

David Moore | Broncos WR

The Seahawks select East Central (OK) receiver David Moore with the 226th pick in the 2017 NFL Draft.

Moore had 57 receptions for 878 yards and ten touchdowns in his senior season with East Central. At 6'2", 225 pounds, Moore might be someone the Seahawks identified as a potential special teams contributor. He'll compete for a roster spot in training camp this summer.
