Washington was with the Chiefs throughout the summer before getting cut, but he's worked his way from the team's practice field and onto the 53-man roster. Washington isn't a recommended fantasy pickup at the moment, but he's still someone to watch in Kansas City's elite offense.

Washington—who played with Patrick Mahomes at Texas Tech—was hoping to make the team and be the No. 2 back behind Clyde Edwards-Helaire, but Kansas City is going with incumbents Darrel Williams and Darwin Thompson. This news should lock in Darrel Williams as a high-upside handcuff and great flier in the final rounds of fantasy drafts.
