WOLF SPORTS PROJECTION

De’Angelo Henderson | Eagles RB

The Eagles are signing De'Angelo Henderson to the practice squad, according to Mike Garafolo.

Philly currently has Jordan Howard, Miles Sanders, and Boston Scott as the healthy backs on the roster, but Henderson could potentially get a chance to shine in practice and eventually get called up. Still, he'd be unlikely to see more than a handful of snaps per game if eventually added to the active roster, and Howard/Sanders will continue dominating touches if both guys remain healthy.

The Vikings released D'Angelo Henderson.

Minnesota is pretty much set at running back, so it was going to be difficult for Henderson to make the final roster. The 2017 sixth-round pick should at least draw interest for a practice squad spot somewhere.

The Vikings claimed De'Angelo Henderson, according to Ian Rapoport.

Henderson was recently waived by the Jets, but Minnesota put in a claim on him after releasing Roc Thomas. The five-foot-seven back totaled nine carries for 32 yards over the past two years with Denver and New York. He will compete for a roster spot and potentially snaps behind Dalvin Cook.

The Jets are waiving De'Angelo Henderson, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Henderson spent last season with the Jets after spending 2017 with the Broncos as a sixth-round pick, but he hasn't gotten many opportunities on game day (nine carries through two seasons). The Costal Carolina product should get another opportunity soon as he looks to earn a roster spot for 2019.

De’Angelo Henderson | Eagles RB

De'Angelo Henderson rushed twice for 19 yards in Sunday's loss to the Patriots.

The touches were Henderson's first of the year. The 26-year-old is off the fantasy radar right now, but he will look to carve out a role in New York or somewhere else next summer.

De’Angelo Henderson | Eagles RB

The Jets have officially activated De'Angelo Henderson to the active roster.

This is a corresponding move to the team placing Isaiah Crowell (toe) on injured reserve. Henderson is a second-year running back that was selected by Denver in the sixth-round last year. He'll slide in behind Elijah McGuire and Trenton Cannon and could receive some work over the final three games of the season. Henderson is not a highly-recommended fantasy pickup, though.

De'Angelo Henderson is signing with the Jets practice squad.

The sixth-round pick of the Broncos last season is heading east as a member of the Jets. Henderson might be able to work his way into a roster spot and a role at some point, so keep an eye on him.

De’Angelo Henderson | Eagles RB

The Broncos are waiving De'Angelo Henderson.

Henderson was a sixth-round running back from last year's draft. After a strong preseason, Phillip Lindsay has won the third running back spot with the Broncos. Henderson will likely land on the practice squad if no other team claims him.

De’Angelo Henderson | Eagles RB

De'Angelo Henderson scores first career touchdown in Week 17 loss.

Henderson rushed five times for 15 yards and took his lone reception 29 yards for a score. The seventh-round pick ends his rookie campaign with seven carries for 13 yards and two receptions for 36 yards and a touchdown. He could be a factor in 2018, so Henderson is a name worth monitoring over the summer.

De’Angelo Henderson | Eagles RB

De'Angelo Henderson gets one touch in Week 16.

Henderson had a -3-yard carry on his lone rushing attempt, along with one seven-yard reception, against the Redskins. The rookie running back from Coastal Carolina is someone to keep an eye on in dynasty leagues right now, but he's only had two carries this season.

De’Angelo Henderson | Eagles RB

De'Angelo Henderson rushed six times for 30 yards on Saturday night.

He also caught two passes for 20 yards. Henderson saw time with the first-team offense, and he might be earning himself both a roster spot and an early-season role in a crowded running back room. We'll see how much work he gets with the first team next week against Green Bay.

De’Angelo Henderson | Eagles RB

De'Angelo Henderson breaks long touchdown in NFL preseason debut.

The rookie back out of Coastal Carolina had seven carries for 54 yards, including a 41-yard touchdown where he showed off his speed. Henderson certainly looks impressive, and it's looking like he should be a member of the Broncos' final roster this season.

De’Angelo Henderson | Eagles RB

The Broncos draft Coastal Carolina running back De'Angelo Henderson with the 203rd pick in the 2017 NFL Draft.

Henderson was a beast at Coastal Carolina, rushing for over 1,000 yards three straight seasons, but injured his shoulder during his senior season and missed three games. Henderson is a bowling ball type runner that will compete for a backup role behind C.J. Anderson and Devontae Booker in Denver.
