WOLF SPORTS PROJECTION

Derek Watt | Steelers FB

Derek Watt leaves game after hit to the head.

Watt went down and was motionless after a knee to the head on a special teams tackle, but he was at least able to walk off with assistance. Pittsburgh’s offense will be without their fullback the rest of the way.

Derek Watt (hamstring) is expected miss multiple games.

Watt has a Grade 2 hamstring pull, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. This doesn't have a huge fantasy impact for James Conner and company, but it's still notable. Watt's absence will also hurt the Steelers on special teams.

Derek Watt | Steelers FB

Derek Watt (hamstring) has been ruled out for the rest of today's game.

Watt is playing with his brother T.J. and against his brother J.J. in today's Texans-Steelers game, so it's unfortunate that he won't be able to finish it. Pittsburgh might spread things out more with their fullback out of the game.

Derek Watt is signing with the Steelers.

This is a pretty cool signing, as Watt will join his brother T.J. in Pittsburgh. Watt will lead the way for James Conner and company in the Steelers backfield, but he's not likely to make a fantasy impact in 2020.

Derek Watt catches one pass in Wild Card Round.

Watt gained one yard on his lone reception against the Ravens. He appeared to cross the goal line for a touchdown on the play, but he was curiously ruled down at about the one-yard line after a review. LA's fullback will remain a solid real-life contributor one week from today against the Patriots.

Derek Watt gets one carry against the Broncos.

Watt gained eight yards on his lone attempt in the Chargers' Week 17 win. LA's fullback is a great real-life contributor as a lead blocker for Melvin Gordon and company, and he'll look to lead the way against a tough Ravens defense in the Wild Card Round.

Derek Watt catches two-yard pass in win over the Bengals.

It was his only touch of the game. Watt isn't a recommended fantasy option as LA's fullback.

Derek Watt | Steelers FB

Derek Watt rushed twice for two yards in Sunday’s win over the Raiders.

Watt hadn’t touched the ball since the season opener, so he’s not a recommended fantasy option as a standout blocker for Melvin Gordon.
