WOLF SPORTS PROJECTION

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

The Patriots are acquiring DeVante Parker.

Parker had been known as a player that was available for trade, but it's surprising that Miami is dealing him within the division to New England. According to multiple reports, the Patriots are sending a 2023 third-round pick to the Dolphins for Parker and a 2022 fifth-rounder. Parker will give the Patriots some added size on the outside, and the team suddenly has a very deep receiving group, so we'll see if more moves are made there at some point. The former first-round pick Parker just turned 29 earlier this year, and he has a 1,200-yard season under his belt from 2019.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

The Dolphins have activated DeVante Parker (hamstring) from injured reserve.

Parker will be a great boost for a Miami team that’s been rolling, and he should take some pressure off Jaylen Waddle and Mike Gesicki. We’ll see if the Giants use top cornerback James Bradberry to match the big-bodied wideout on Sunday.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

The Dolphins are placing DeVante Parker (hamstring) on injured reserve, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Parker suffered a setback with his hamstring this week, which is obviously unfortunate after he looked good in Week 8 versus the Bills. Miami will lean on Jaylen Waddle and Mike Gesicki with Will Fuller (finger) still week-to-week. We'd say Parker remains a worthy stash for down the stretch.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker (shoulder/hamstring) is doubtful for Week 9.

Dolphins head coach Brian Flores says that Parker had a setback and is doubtful to play against the Texans on Sunday. This is really unfortunate for a player that's dealt with a bunch of injuries throughout his career, and he was coming off a strong outing (8/85) in his return to the lineup against the Bills last week.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker (shoulder) is officially active for the Dolphins.

Parker missed the past three games with hamstring and shoulder issues, but he's back in the lineup for the Dolphins today against the Bills in a game they obviously really need to end this six-game slide. There has been talk about the big receiver potentially being on the move ahead of Tuesday's trade deadline

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker (shoulder) is inactive for Week 7.

This is Parker’s third consecutive missed game, but he appears to be getting close to a return. We’ll see if he can come back for next week versus the Bills.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker (hamstring) will not play in Week 6.

Parker will miss the London matchup with the Jaguars, and it'll be his second consecutive missed game. Hopefully Parker is able to return to face the Falcons next week.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker (hamstring/shoulder) will not play in Week 5.

Parker injured his hamstring during practice this week, and apparently pre-game warmups did not go well. Unfortunately, the big receiver won't play today versus the Buccaneers. Preston Williams should get more opportunities on the outside for Miami.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker (hamstring/shoulder) is expected to be a game-time decision for Week 5.

It was the shoulder that had been limiting Parker in practice, but the hamstring issue that popped up today is what causes concern for his status this Sunday against the Bucs. Check back in Sunday morning for the big receiver’s official game status.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker is officially off the PUP list.

As was hoped, it was indeed a short stay for Parker on the PUP to begin camp. The big-bodied receiver is currently practicing for the Dolphins, and he'll look to build more chemistry with second-year quarterback Tua Tagovailoa this summer.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker has been placed on the PUP list.

There seems to have been quite a few notable names to land on the PUP list to begin camp, but hopefully Parker's stay there is a short one. The crowded group behind Will Fuller and rookie Jaylen Waddle will get extended looks until the big-bodied wideout returns to the field.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker (hamstring) is officially inactive for Saturday night.

There was hope that Parker would be able to return for tonight against the Raiders, but he'll miss his second consecutive game. The good news for the Dolphins is that Jakeem Grant and Mike Gesicki are both active.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker (hamstring) is officially inactive for the Dolphins.

It seemed as if Parker would be out there today, but that’s not the case, and Miami is also without Jakeem Grant (hamstring) and Mike Gesicki (shoulder). The matchup was going to be a bad one versus Stephon Gilmore (despite success in the battle previously), so hopefully fantasy owners already had a replacement in mind.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker (hamstring) is officially listed as questionable for Sunday.

Parker has played through injuries all year, and we don’t expect things will be any different this week against the Patriots. The Dolphins kickoff in the early slate of games, so Parker’s Week 15 status will be official by 11:30 AM ET on Sunday.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker (hamstring) was officially limited in today's practice.

This is a positive sign for a Wednesday practice, and we anticipate Parker pushing through this hamstring issue and playing this Sunday against the Patriots. We'll let you know how Parker is listed on the final Week 15 injury report when it's released on Friday.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker is dealing with a "slight" hamstring strain.

The Dolphins are very beat up on offense, so they'll hope to get Parker ready to go for Sunday against the Patriots. Despite dealing with injuries throughout the year, Parker has not yet missed a game this season.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker (leg) is questionable to return for the Dolphins.

Parker is heading into the locker room with under a minute remaining in the first half, so we'll see if there's more word on his status after halftime.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker was ejected from the Dolphins game.

After Tyler Boyd and Xavien Howard were ejected earlier, another scuffle broke out in the Bengals-Dolphins matchup, with both Parker and teammate Mack Hollins getting ejected. Before leaving, Parker had four receptions for 35 yards.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker (hamstring) is officially active against the Bills.

Parker continues to deal with his hamstring issue, but he’ll be out there for another early-season AFC East matchup. At less than 100% and tasked with dealing with Tre’Davious White and company, consider Parker a FLEX option for Week 2.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker (hamstring) is officially listed as questionable for Week 2.

Parker reportedly looked good in today’s practice, and we think he’ll be ready to go Sunday against the Bills. But keep in mind that Miami has a short week coming up (a Thursday night game versus the Jaguars), so we’ll see if that factors into his status this weekend.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker (hamstring) is officially questionable to return for the Dolphins.

Parker had been dealing with a hamstring issue that had him limited in practice throughout the week, so this isn't good. It's a long season they want Parker to be available for, and he might have trouble finishing today's game against the Patriots.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker is off the Week 1 injury report.

Parker and teammate Preston Williams are both good to go for a Dolphins team that's mostly healthy entering an immediate big-time matchups against the Patriots. Parker draws a tough matchup against Stephon Gilmore and company, so he's more of a FLEX option for Week 1.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker (hamstring) was officially limited in today's practice.

Parker is battling through this hamstring issue, but at least he was able to hit the field on a limited basis to start the official week of practice. Expect him to remain limited through Friday, when hopefully we'll get more clarity on his Week 1 status.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker catches eight passes for 137 yards in win over the Patriots.

Parker did battle with Stephon Gilmore all afternoon, and he did more than hold his own by hauling in most of his team-high 11 targets in an upset road victory. The arrow was clearly pointing up for the former first-round pick, but Sunday may have been evidence of him being a matchup-proof WR1 in 2020—especially if Ryan Fitzpatrick remains the starter for Miami. Overall, Parker ends his breakout season with 72 receptions, 1,202 yards, and nine touchdowns while appearing in every game for the first time in his career.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker continues breakout season with two-score game.

Parker caught four passes for 72 yards and the touchdowns, both of which came from 20+ yards out. The former first-round pick had signed a four-year, $40-million extension with Miami earlier in the week, and he didn't disappoint on Sunday. Through 14 games, Parker now owns a 59/954/8 line and will hope to get over 1,000 yards and reach double-digit touchdowns over the final two weeks. Cincinnati won't be a matchup to avoid next Sunday.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker will play tomorrow.

As expected, Parker cleared concussion protocol and will be ready to go tomorrow against the Giants. Fresh off signing a very nice contract extension with the Dolphins, Parker is a strong play with upside in Week 15 fantasy lineups.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

The Dolphins are finalizing a four-year, $40-million extension with DeVante Parker, according to Tom Pelissero.

Parker is in the midst of a breakout campaign with 55 receptions, 882 yards, and six touchdowns this season, and it's great to see Miami rewarding him with an extension that reportedly includes $21.5 million guaranteed. The No. 14 overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, Parker had battled injuries to start his career, but he's proven to be an excellent target on the perimeter when on the field. He should remain an upside WR2 both down the stretch and in dynasty leagues.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker (concussion) has been ruled out for the rest of today.

Parker hit his head hard on the turf after a catch in the first half, and he's been ruled out at the start of the second half. Before leaving, Parker had two receptions for 28 yards. The big receiver has been playing about as well as anyone over the past several weeks, so this is a considerable loss for both the Dolphins and fantasy owners. Hopefully Parker can get back on the field next week.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker dominates the Eagles as Miami picks up their third win of the season.

Parker caught seven passes for 159 yards and two touchdowns, both of which were highlight plays in a 37-31 victory. On the first, Parker made a contested catch along the sideline, kept his balance to stay in bounds, and sprinted for a 43-yard score; and on the second, he simply used his size and leaping ability to sky over a defender for a 17-yard jump ball. Philadelphia basically had no answer for the former first-round pick, who now owns a 53/854/6 line heading into the fantasy playoffs. He will be at least a high-upside WR2 for Week 14 against the Jets.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

The Dolphins coaching staff believes DeVante Parker can be a top-tier receiver.

Andy Cohen of MiamiDolphins.com writes that while it was a bit of a surprise the Dolphins retained Parker this offseason, the reasoning "was simple. Parker has the size, speed and raw talent to be a top-tier receiver in this league. This coaching staff believes they can get it out of him, assuming he maintains relatively good health." Parker said that he feels like this new coaching staff gives him a "fresh start" after what's been a relatively disappointing and injury-plagued start to his career after he was taken 14th overall in the 2015 NFL Draft. The Louisville product has shown some major flashes when he's been healthy and on the field, and there's certainly been a ton of hype about him leading up to previous seasons, so we'll see if the 26-year-old can put it all together and enjoy a big season in 2019. Parker will be one of the more intriguing and high-upside options at the end of fantasy drafts this summer.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

The Dolphins are signing DeVante Parker to a new two-year contract, according to Tom Pelissero.

Parker seemed unlikely to remain in Miami for the final year of his rookie deal, but the new regime wants to give the No. 14 overall pick of the 2015 NFL Draft a chance to reach his potential under Brian Flores' coaching staff. Still just a young 26, Parker definitely has the upside to make a fantasy impact if he can stay healthy and emerge for a Dolphins offense that is expected to trail (and in turn, throw) a ton in 2019. He will be one of the better late-round options to target in fantasy drafts over the summer.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker held without a catch in season finale.

Parker was targeted three times, but couldn't bring any of his looks in. While the 2015 first-round pick missed five games, he finishes the season with career-lows across the board, catching 24 passes for 309 yards and one touchdown. At this point, it would be a surprise if Parker was back in 2019, so he will be an intriguing target in fantasy drafts next summer depending on his new landing spot.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker caught two passes for 13 yards in Sunday's loss to Jacksonville.

Parker actually led all perimeter receivers in receptions and yards, but it was obviously not a productive day with Ryan Tannehill completing just 15 passes. We can probably assume Parker will be playing elsewhere in 2019, but he will look to make an impact next week in Buffalo for the season finale. Consider him a FLEX option in deeper leagues.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker catches one pass in Week 14.

Parker gained 18 yards on his lone reception against the Patriots, catching a deep curl route. The former first-round pick is a boom/bust fantasy option right now, and he has a tough matchup with the Vikings in Week 15.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker scores first touchdown of 2018 in Dolphins' win.

Parker went up and got a loft pass from Ryan Tannehill on a post route early in the game, as he held on in traffic while taking a hit at the goal line. Overall, Parker had four receptions for 43 yards and a touchdown. The former first-round pick will look to build off this first touchdown of the season as we enter the final quarter of the year. He's not a highly-recommended fantasy topic next week against the Patriots.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker (shoulder) is officially active for Week 13.

Parker isn’t a highly-recommended fantasy option after he had three receptions for ten yards last week. It’s good to see the former first-rounder battle through more injuries to remain on the field, though.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker (shoulder) is listed as questionable for Week 13.

It'd be a slight surprise if Parker doesn't suit up Sunday after he just played last week with his shoulder injury, but the big receiver's status will be official by 11:30 AM ET on game day.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker caught three passes for ten yards in Sunday's loss to the Colts.

Parker hauled in all three of his targets, but it was a conservative passing attack outside of a 74-yard bomb to Leonte Carroo. Miami's former first-round pick also came into the game banged up, but we'll see if he can get in more practice reps this week before taking on the Bills next Sunday.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker (shoulder) is officially active against the Colts.

Parker unfortunately continues to deal with injuries, but he’s pushing through this one and will be out there for the Dolphins. The former first-round pick offers some upside in fantasy lineups, but he offers a very low floor especially at less than 100%.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker (shoulder) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Colts.

Parker wore a non-contact jersey in practice, and he might be on the wrong side of the designation, which obviously isn't ideal for fantasy owners with Miami having a late afternoon game. If he plays, the big-bodied receiver should get a boost with Ryan Tannehill back under center instead of Brock Osweiler, but he's nothing more than a decent FLEX option.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker (shoulder) is week-to-week.

NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero says Parker is dealing with a sprained AC joint. The good news is the Dolphins have a bye this week, but this is yet another injury the former first-round pick has to deal with. Hopefully he’s able to play in Week 12, but we’ll monitor his practice status next week.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker (shoulder) did not return against the Packers.

Before leaving, Parker had five receptions for 43 yards. The good news is the Dolphins have a bye next week, so hopefully Parker is ready to go for Week 12 against the Colts.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker (shoulder) is questionable to return against the Packers.

Jakeem Grant already left the game with a leg injury, so the Dolphins are getting thin at receiver. We'll update you as more information becomes available on Parker's status.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker catches one pass in Week 9.

Parker gained eight yards on his lone reception against the Jets, and he was targeted just two times in the Dolphins' win. It was a disappointing performance after Parker set a career-high in Week 8, but it was just that type of game, with Brock Osweiler throwing for just 139 yards in a defensive battle. Parker will look to bounce back in a game the Dolphins might need to score a lot in against the Packers next week.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker returns to action and hits career-high in receiving.

Forced into the lineup because of injuries to Albert Wilson (hip) and Kenny Stills (groin) days after his agent complained about Dolphins head coach Adam Gase, Parker caught six-of-nine targets for a career-high 134 yards against the Texans. This was Parker's third game of the season as he battled finger and quadricep injuries, and Gase and the offense didn't shy away from using the former first-round pick in a big role. Parker was great all game, getting open and making nice catches throughout the night, but the highlight was a 46-yard reception where the ball went off teammate Jakeem Grant then off the helmet of a Texans player and catapulted to Parker down the field. This was an excellent matchup against a banged-up Houston secondary that became more banged-up in this game, but the performance was great to see and a major positive. Parker is worth a fantasy pickup as someone that could make a huge impact down the stretch.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker is active tonight against the Texans.

The Dolphins basically had no choice but to activate Parker with both Kenny Stills (groin) and Albert Wilson (hip) out tonight, and the former first-round pick will attempt to show he could have been on the field more this season. Parker has a height advantage on the Houston corners, and he is a FLEX option in deeper leagues for Week 8.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker (quadricep) is inactive for Week 7.

Parker had a full week of practice, but he was still listed as questionable. This might be a case of the Dolphins deciding Parker won’t get enough playing time on offense to be active as someone that typically doesn’t contribute on special teams. Also, they could be ensuring he stays healthy with trade rumors swirling.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker (quadricep) is listed as questionable for Week 7.

Parker was a full participant in practice all week, so this is a bit of a surprise. However, even if Parker is active, he's difficult to trust in fantasy lineups as currently no better than the No. 4 receiver than the Dolphins. Parker's official game status will be known by 11:30 AM ET on Sunday.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker doesn't catch a pass in Week 6.

In his return from a quadricep injury and his second game of the season, Parker barely played for the Dolphins. Perhaps Parker just needs to work his way back into the swing of things after missing so much time, but the former first-rounder is off the fantasy radar for now.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker (quadriceps) is active for the Dolphins.

After getting up to a full practice to end the week, Parker will be making his second appearance of the season today against the Bears. But Ryan Tannehill (shoulder) is inactive for the game, making Parker an even riskier FLEX option than he already was.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker (quad) is listed as questionable for Week 6.

Parker was limited on Wednesday and Thursday, but he got in a full practice on Friday, which suggests he should be healthy enough to play. However, the Dolphins seem content with Kenny Stills, Danny Amendola, Albert Wilson, and Jakeem Grant as their top receivers, and Parker is unlikely to make a huge impact if he's active against the Bears. A trade might be best for the former first-round pick at this point.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker (quadricep) remains limited in practice.

Until Parker gets to a full practice participant, it's hard to feel great about his game status. He's likely headed for a questionable tag when the injury report is released tomorrow.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker (quadricep) was limited in today's practice.

Parker has appeared in just one game this season in what's certainly been a frustrating time start to the season for both him and the team. Hopefully Parker is able to get up to a full practice tomorrow or Friday. It's worth noting that trade rumors have been swirling about the former first-round pick.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker (quadricep) is inactive for Week 5.

Parker has again unfortunately had trouble staying healthy this season, as this will be his fourth missed game in five contests. The talented former first-round pick does not need to be owned in standard-sized fantasy leagues.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker (quadricep) was limited in today's practice.

Parker was surprisingly inactive because of his quad issue, and Dolphins head coach Adam Gase sounded slightly surprised about it. After one month, Parker has only been able to appear in one game for Miami this season. We'll monitor his practice status tomorrow and Friday.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker (quadricep) is inactive for the Dolphins.

This has not been a good start to the season for Parker, who missed the first two weeks with a broken finger and is now missing today's game against the Patriots. The former first-round pick is very talented, but he doesn't need to be owned in fantasy leagues right now.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker (quadricep) is listed as questionable against the Patriots.

This quad issue is something new for Parker, and he was just limited in today's practice. The Dolphins could use Parker against a banged-up Patriots secondary, and his official game status will be known on Sunday morning.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker catches two passes in first game of 2018.

After missing the first two games with a broken finger, Parker returned and contributed for the Dolphins, catching two passes for 40 yards. Parker had a long of 36 yards on a deep ball down the right sideline. The former first-rounder has upside that makes him worth a bench stash, but it's difficult to trust him in fantasy lineups at the moment in a spread-the-wealth passing attack.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

The Dolphins plan to play DeVante Parker this week, according to the Miami Herald.

Despite full practices last week, Parker was inactive for Week 2's win over the Jets. However, the team basically wanted to give Parker more time to let his broken finger get 100% healed, and now he'll apparently play this Sunday against the Raiders. Miami's receivers have played well in the first two games of the year, but Parker gives them a size element the group didn't have. The former first-round pick is worth a bench stash in fantasy leagues, but he's difficult to trust in his first game back this week.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker (finger) practiced fully today.

Dolphins head coach Adam Gase already said Parker could've played in Sunday' win against the Jets, but the team might be letting the finger heal a little more. Parker should be a full participant in practice all week, but we'll see how he's listed on the official injury report when it's released on Friday.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker (finger) is inactive for Week 2.

There was a lot of optimism surrounding Parker's status for today against the Jets, and he worked his way up to a full practice, but he's not playing. Parker is a good bet to be active for Week 3 against the Raiders.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

The Dolphins have listed DeVante Parker (finger) as questionable for Week 2.

Parker was a full participant in practice each of the last two days, so we assumed he'd be ready to go against the Jets. However, it's no guarantee. The good news is actives and inactives for the game will be out by 11:30 AM ET on Sunday. Check back in then if you plan on putting Parker in your fantasy lineup.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker (finger) was a full participant in practice.

Dolphins head coach Adam Gase expressed optimism about Parker's status earlier today, adding that his big receiver is "itching to play." After missing the Week 1 win against the Titans, Parker is ready to go for this Sunday against the Jets. Miami has a lot of weapons the ball will be spread around to, but Parker is likely to step right back into the lineup as a starter and full-time player. Remember, Parker was able to stay in shape during his absence because it was a finger injury that did not prevent him from doing cardio and other work—he just couldn't catch. There's upside, but consider Parker more of a weak FLEX in his first game of 2018.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker (finger) was limited in practice.

This is a good start to the week for Parker, who appears to have a good shot of playing in Week 2 against the Jets. A full practice participation tomorrow or Friday would be ideal, so we'll update you with his status ahead of his official game status being released before the weekend.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker (finger) is officially out for Week 1.

This has been fully expected since early in the week, but now it’s official. This is just a waiting game for Parker, as his finger must heal to the point where he can catch the ball before hs is able to play for the Dolphins.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVanter Parker (finger) is officially doubtful for Week 1.

Parker didn't practice all week, and the Miami Herald's Armando Salguero previously reported that he would not play in the season opener. It would be a major shock if Parker suits up, but it's a good sign moving forward that the team is holding out hope he can play. Parker can still be a great playmaker in Miami's offense this season despite battling injuries and some inconsistency through three NFL seasons.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker (finger) will not play in the season opener, according to the Miami Herald's Armando Salguero.

The fourth-year receiver is still dealing with his broken finger, and the team isn't going to rush him back into action. Look for Albert Wilson and Jakeem Grant to be a bigger part of the gameplan along with starters Kenny Stills and Danny Amendola versus the Titans. Consider Parker 50/50 for Week 2 against the Jets for now.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVanter Parker (finger) might not play in Week 1.

Dolphins head coach Adam Gase basically isn't sure if Parker will be ready to play for the season opener, but he did say the big receiver still can't catch a football because of his broken finger. Parker remains week-to-week with the opener less than two weeks away. Parker can at least stay in shape while dealing with the broken finger, so he might be inserted right back into the lineup when he can catch again. Consider him questionable for Week 1 for now.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker's injury is a broken right middle finger, according to multiple reports.

Parker is week-to-week, but the team expects him back for the opener on September 9 against the Titans. It would be a major surprise if Parker plays anymore this preseason, and the opener is no lock; even if Parker is ready for the opener, there's a chance he needs some time to get acclimated with the offense again after missing time. The good news is Parker can still run and stay in shape while he waits for his broken finger to heal. The talented fourth-year receiver's ADP is probably going to take a big drop in the coming weeks, so he could deliver some value late in fantasy drafts.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker is week-to-week with a hand injury, head coach Adam Gase has announced.

Gase said of Parker, "Right now, he wouldn't be able to catch the ball," which could mean the start of the season is in jeopardy. The former first-round pick has failed to separate himself in camp, so this is the last thing he needed in what could be a make-or-break year for him in Miami. In the mean time, free-agent signing Albert Wilson—who doesn't have a defined role to this point—will perhaps have an opportunity to earn more playing time for the regular season alongside Kenny Stills and Danny Amendola. Suddenly, Parker is falling out of the mid-round conversation and might be just a late-round upside pick. This news is also a slight blow to Ryan Tannehill, and Mike Gesicki could become a bigger factor in the red zone. Hopefully Parker is ready for the season opener.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

Jakeem Grant says teammate DeVante Parker wants to prove people wrong in 2018.

The coaches have slowed their praise for Parker this offseason after they spoke glowingly of him leading up to last season, as they said this year's plan is to just take it one day at a time. But that doesn't mean his teammates won't hype up the former first-round pick. Grant says Parker is a "complete beast" that's going to have a "great" year, and he said Parker "definitely wants to go out there and prove to people he's definitely better" than what most people might think (he probably means how Parker isn't typically brought up on lists of the league's best receivers, with some even calling him a bust). The word is Parker has showed a very strong work ethic this offseason, and Grant's words back up that Parker is committed to proving the doubters wrong this season. Entering his fourth season, Parker has WR1 potential in fantasy leagues.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

New Dolphins receivers coach Ben Johnson says DeVante Parker is a "different guy" this year.

Last season, the hype train full Parker was almost unlike anything we've heard, with coaches saying he was going to be invited to the "Monster Bowl" and that he was going to have a "gigantic year" for them. A high-ankle sprain derailed Parker's season a bit, and the coaches are taking a different approach this year, as Johnson says they are taking a "one-day-at-a-time mentality." However, Johnson went on to say how Parker has spent about as much time as anyone in the building, which is why he believes the former first-round receiver is a different guy this offseason. Despite the relatively disappointing season in 2017 (thanks in large part to injury), Parker has obvious WR1 upside entering his fourth NFL season.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

The Dolphins plan to spread the ball around on offense this season.

Dolphins head coach Adam Gase was on SiriusXM NFL Radio and spoke about Jarvis Landry, who had a whopping 400 receptions in his four seasons with Miami, moving on. Gase said with Landry gone, "we will have to spread the ball around which is something that this offense is tailor made for. It will probably be a different guy every week for us." The Dolphins went out and added receivers Danny Amendola and Albert Wilson in free agency, running backs Frank Gore (in free agency) and Kalen Ballage (in the draft), and tight end Mike Gesicki in the draft. With DeVante Parker and Kenny Stills among those still in the mix, they are going to spread the ball around to all their weapons, which could lead to some fantasy headaches. However, Parker still has a lot of upside as someone the team was extremely excited about heading into last season. Of the Dolphins receivers, he's the best bet to turn into a consistent WR1 or WR2 option in 2018.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

The Dolphins have officially exercised the fifth-year option on wide receiver DeVante Parker.

Parker, the 14th-overall pick of the 2015 NFL Draft, has been banged up for much of his career, but he's flashed major potential that Miami is wise to keep under team control through 2019. With Jarvis Landry now in Cleveland, Adam Gase's passing attack should run through Parker, which could lead to some big-time fantasy production. We would bank on Parker finally breaking out in 2018, and he could be a bargain this summer after people were disappointed last year in another injury-plagued season.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

Adam Gase says DeVante Parker just needs to stay healthy.

Speaking at this week's NFL Annual League Meeting, Gase was asked about his fourth-year receivers potential and said he doesn't even think it's a "potential thing." All last year leading up to the season, the Dolphins were extremely high on Bryant, and it sounded like he was ready to have a Pro Bowl season. But a bad ankle sprain, believed to be a high-ankle sprain, derailed his season a bit. Gase believes keeping Parker is the most important thing, and he adds they need "a little bit of luck" so he can stay on the field. Parker has major post-hype breakout potential in 2018, especially if people just look at the stats and don't think he's worth a selection in fantasy drafts.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker caught six passes for 64 yards in Sunday's loss to the Bills.

Parker looked good through the team's final drive when they tried tying it up or taking the lead, and he finishes the injury-plagued season with a 57/670/1 line in 13 games. People might write the former first-round pick off after a "regression," but high-ankle sprains are difficult to play with, and Parker will likely end up as a bargain in 2018 fantasy drafts if he can stay healthy. Dynasty owners should keep/target Parker this offseason. He will be an upside WR2 pick in the middle or later rounds of redraft leagues.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker gets ten targets against the Chiefs.

Parker's ten targets were a team high, and he caught five passes for 63 yards in the Christmas Eve loss. The big receiver's season was derailed a bit by the ankle injury earlier in the year, but he'll look to have another fine showing in Week 17 to take some momentum into the offseason.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker (ankle) is active for Week 16.

Parker was a full participant in Friday's practice, so this was expected. The big receiver is in the FLEX conversation against the Chiefs, but it's possible he's at less than 100% or aggravated the ankle that's been bothering him for much of the season.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker (ankle) is questionable for Week 16.

After not practicing Wednesday or Thursday, Parker was able to get in a full practice today. He'll probably be out there against the Chiefs, but be sure to check in at 11:30 AM ET on Sunday. Parker would be in FLEX consideration if he plays on Christmas Eve.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker (ankle) did not practice today.

Parker also missed practice yesterday, and now it's become a major concern for his status for Week 16. The talented receiver has dealt with ankle issues since Week 5, and the team has already taken a cautious approach with him earlier this season. For now, Parker's status is in major doubt, but maybe he can get out there for practice tomorrow before suiting up on Christmas Eve versus the Chiefs.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker gets 12 targets against Buffalo.

The Dolphins are trying to get their big receiver going over the final few games of the season, as you could tell last week against the Patriots. This week, Parker was targeted down the field more and caught six passes for 89 yards, with a long of 36 yards. It did appear there might have been a miscommunication late in the game, as a pass intended for Parker was easily intercepted, and it's possible Parker was supposed to break his route to the outside. Either way, Parker is an intriguing FLEX option for Week 16 versus Kansas City.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker catches four passes in Week 14.

Parker gained 40 yards on his four receptions, though he did have another drop on a crossing route and had a pass that might be considered a drop on another crossing route late in the game. Considering he had to deal with Patriots cornerback Stephon Gilmore for most of the game, this is a good step for Parker as he looks to show his huge playmaking ability over the last few weeks of the season.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker catches one pass in Week 13.

Parker's lone reception against the Broncos went for five yards. Despite the Dolphins saying they wanted to get Parker going and at the point he was during the summer when he looked prime for a huge breakout season, the big receiver has actually regressed statistically over the last three games—and there's certainly a chance the high-ankle sprain that forced him to miss three games earlier this season is still a factor. One pass yesterday intended for Parker was intercepted, which isn't good either. Parker has a difficult matchup with Stephon Gilmore and the Patriots last week, who held him to one reception for five yards in Week 12. He's probably best left out of fantasy lineups right now, despite his upside.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker held to one reception in loss to the Patriots.

It went for five yards. Parker was given plenty of attention by New England's defense, and Jay Cutler being out for Miami didn't help. The third-year receiver should be a high-end WR2 in the fantasy playoffs, but things will be difficult again in Week 13 against Denver. That said, Cutler's return would be a big boost for Parker.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker held in check as Dolphins lose fourth straight.

Parker caught four passes for just 26 yards, as coverage shaded in his direction allowed Kenny Stills (7/180/1) and Jarvis Landry (6/95/1) to go off. He should bounce back next week in New England, where he is expected to see a lot of Stephon Gilmore. Parker remains a high-end WR2, especially if Jay Cutler (concussion) is healthy.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

The Dolphins want to get DeVante Parker back to where he was during training camp.

Parker, who missed three games this season with an ankle injury, hasn't had a monster breakout performance that the team—and everyone that's been paying attention—has expected yet. Offensive coordinator Clyde Christensen said the staff met this morning and discussed getting Parker back to where he was in the summer. The five healthy games he's played in from start to finish (he left early in the Week 5 game against Tennessee after injuring his ankle), Parker has averaged 74.4 yards per game—which would be a very solid pace of 1,190 yards in 16 games. However, Christensen said Parker doesn't have the "edge" he had during training camp, so it's clear they're going to try something to get him going. With many fantasy trade deadlines coming up next week, Parker is a highly-reccomended target as a potentially huge difference-maker down the stretch. This week, he's a WR1 option against a Bucs team with smaller corners.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker catches six passes against the Panthers.

Parker gained 66 yards on his six receptions (nine targets) as the Panthers did a nice job of controlling the ball and limiting Miami when they did get opportunities with the ball. Parker had a long of 24 yards on a deep dig route, and it would've went for more if not for a great hustle play by linebacker Thomas Davis, who chased him down. Parker has an excellent matchup against Tampa Bay's smaller cornerbacks in Week 11, and he should be a great option in fantasy lineups.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker makes sensational one-handed grab in return from ankle injury, but Dolphins lose to Raiders.

Parker caught five passes for 76 yards, as Jay Cutler spread the ball around and had five different players with at least five receptions, but the best play of the night came on a one-handed reception that he dove backwards for and somehow got down in bounds. A true monster, Parker should be in lineups every week as a high-end WR2. He gets the Panthers in Week 10.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker (ankle) was a full participant in practice today.

This was fully expected, as Parker is set to make his return this Sunday night against Oakland. He wanted to play last Thursday against the Ravens, but head coach Adam Gase and the team held him out. Likely near or at 100%, Parker will be a high-end WR2 with six teams on a bye this week. Get him back in your fantasy lineup.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker (ankle) wanted to play last night.

Dolphins head coach Adam Gase said Parker was intent on playing in the Thursday night loss to the Ravens, but Gase held him out. Because the team doesn't have a bye week after it was moved to Week 1, Gase and the team probably wanted their top receiver to be 100% before returning, and they took this Thursday game as an opportunity to get Parker to 100% after the mini bye. After missing three games while dealing what was likely a high-ankle sprain, Parker will be ready to go in Week 9 against Oakland and can immediately be inserted into fantasy lineups for that matchup.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker (ankle) is inactive against the Ravens.

Parker was doing things in warmups, but the team is opting to hold him out and have him 100% when they emerge from their mini bye week to play in Week 9. Remember, the Dolphins have no real bye week left after they had to move it to Week 1 because of Hurriance Irma, so while Parker is dealing with what's believed to be a high-ankle sprain, it's probably best to get him back to full health so the injury doesn't nag him all year. Expect the third-year receiver to be ready to go in Week 9 against Oakland.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker (ankle) is officially questionable for Thursday night.

This is an upgrade over his doubtful designation over the last two weeks, so Parker is very close if he doesn't end up being ready for tomorrow. Expect the third-year receiver to be a game-time decision, and if active he'd be a solid fantasy option even without his starting quarterback and in a difficult matchup against the Ravens.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker (ankle) was listed as limited in today's practice.

This was probably the closest thing Miami will have to a full practice for the short week, and Dolphins offensive coordinator Clyde Christensen said himself it's hard to gauge Parker's status with these light practices. The injury report for the game will be out tomorrow, so we'll see if Parker is questionable, doubtful, or something else. He'd be a big boost for expected starter Matt Moore and the offense.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker (ankle) is inactive for Week 7.

This is Parker’s second straight missed game, as he is likely dealing with a mild high-ankle sprain. We would expected Parker, who was said to be walking around without a limp, to be ready for a big matchup with the Ravens this Thursday, but it’s not lock. Jarvis Landry should easily get 10+ targets against the Jets today.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker (ankle) is officially doubtful for Week 7.

Parker didn't practice all week, as that makes two straight weeks of missed practice while dealing with the ankle issue. Dolphins head coach Adam Gase did say Parker seems to be walking around well, but the doubtful designation indicates he probably will not play. But keep in mind that Parker has played through injuries in the past when it looked like he wouldn't. Miami plays at 1:00 PM ET against the Jets, so Parker will be active or inactive by 11:30 AM ET.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker (ankle) did not practice today.

The Dolphins sound like they don't expect Parker to play, but he was reportedly walking without a limp yesterday and has shown in the past that he can get ready to play when it doesn't seem like he'll be able to. The official injury report for the game will be released tomorrow, and we'll see how Parker is listed. He was listed as doubtful last week before being inactive against the Patriots.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker (ankle) did not practice today.

Dolphins head coach Adam Gase said earlier his receiver is day-to-day, but now it's official that he did not participate in the first practice of the week. Parker was reportedly seen walking fine and without a limp, so hopefully he's able to get out there for practice tomorrow or Friday.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker (ankle) is day-to-day.

Head coach Adam Gase said it's difficult to predict whether he'll be ready for Sunday against the Jets. They're taking it a day at a time, so we'll just have to keep an eye on the practice reports all week. He'll probably be a non-participant today, as it's the first practice of the week.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker (ankle) is inactive against the Falcons.

Parker was listed as doubtful entering the game, so this was expected. This is an obvious downgrade to Jay Cutler, though hopefully you had better options than him facing Atlanta off the bye. Jarvis Landry could be in line for even more targets than usual and should be in all PPR lineups. Parker is probably on the better side of 50/50 for Week 7.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker (doubtful, ankle) is not expected to play today, according to Adam Schefter.

This doesn’t make things official, as Parker is a tough player, but being listed as doubtful makes it unlikely that he’s out there. We will get the final word at 11:30 AM ET, but fantasy owners should have already prepared to be without Parker for Week 6. Against the Falcons in a game they will have to score points, Jarvis Landry should see an increase of targets in the slot, and Kenny Stills should get some more chances to make downfield plays.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker (ankle) will be listed as doubtful.

Parker hasn't been able to practice all week after injuring his ankle in the first quarter of Sunday's win over the Titans, so that's why he's listed as doubtful. Dolphins head coach Adam Gase did say "I'll never count him out after what he did last year in Baltimore"—a game last December in which Parker was not expected to play because of an ankle injury, but he did and scored a touchdown. Don't count him out yet, but you might be better off inserting someone else into your fantasy lineup even if Parker ends up being a surprise active for the game.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker (ankle) did not practice today.

Now it's time to be worried about Parker's status for Sunday against the Falcons. Though it was reported by NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and others that the injury was considered minor, Parker looks to be on the doubtful side of things right now. Maybe he can practice tomorrow and get out there on Sunday, but you should make other plans for one of your WR slots.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker (ankle) did not practice today.

It's only Wednesday and the injury reportedly isn't too serious, but it's still a concern that Parker wasn't able to come back against the Titans on Sunday after injuring the ankle early in the game. We'll see if he's able to practice tomorrow.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker (ankle) is questionable to return against the Titans.

Parker headed to the locker room, which might not be a great sign for his chances of returning to the game. He had one reception for six yards so far, and we'll update you when he returns to the game or is ruled out.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker plays well in Week 5 loss.

The third-year receiver caught six of eight targets for 69 yards against the Saints. Considering the Dolphins barely had the ball in the second half, this was a fine stat line for Parker. He showed strong hands on in-breaking slant routes, as well as again showing his ability to go up and get jump balls. Despite the Dolphins struggling on offense, Parker should be in all fantasy lineups next week against the Titans.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker scores in Week 3 loss.

Parker didn't do much during most of the game as the Dolphins struggled, but he had a huge final series of the game, which was capped by a touchdown on the final play. It was no doubt a great surprise for fantasy owners, as they suddenly received a good amount of points from Parker. After having so much success late in the game throwing to Parker, Jay Cutler could be targeting a lot more early and often moving forward. He is an excellent option in Week 4 against New Orleans and should be in all fantasy lineups unless you are totally stacked at receiver.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker (ankle) is listed as questionable for Week 3.

Parker sat out practice yesterday, but he was a full participant today and is ready to go against the Jets. The third-year receiver should be in your lineup.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker caught four passes for 85 yards in Sunday's win over the Chargers.

Parker made a couple of spectacular grabs, once "Mossing" a defender downfield and another time on a nice over-the-shoulder grab with a defender on his back. Jay Cutler used the short passing game for the most part, but when he did push the ball, it was to Parker. "Faster Alshon" should be treated as an every-week, high-upside WR2 in standard leagues. He gets the Jets next.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker goes up for long pass in Dolphins' third preseason game.

The third-year receiver had two receptions for 78 yards, including a 72-yard reception. On the 72-yarder, Parker ran a go route and easily went up and over Eagles' top corner Ronald Darby before running down the sideline and nearly scoring. If Cutler is going to give Parker opportunities like this, he's going to have some monster games in 2017. Parker's ADP is finally climbing into the top 100 as people are starting to recognize Parker should have a breakout year if he stays healthy.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

Jay Cutler: DeVante Parker is "kind of a faster Alshon, a little bit."

Of course, Cutler is talking about Alshon Jeffery, his former teammate for five seasons with the Bears. Considering Jeffery put up 89/1,421/7 and 85/1,133/10 lines in two of the seasons in Chicago, it's quite the compliment for Parker. The hype for the third-year receiver has been about as high as possible for the last few months, and Cutler's presence should help vault him forward. If he stays healthy, it'd be a major surprise if Parker doesn't reach 1,000 yards for the first time in his career in 2017.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

Jay Cutler looks DeVante Parker's way in first preseason game together.

Miami's third-year receiver caught one-of-four targets for 16 yards, but he also had a 31-yard reception called back by a penalty. Cutler also looked Parker's way on a jump ball situation. It was only less than a quarter of play, but it's obvious Cutler is going to look his big receiver's way this season. Given Cutler's success with Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery, along with the hype surrounding him, Parker has a chance to have a huge 2017 breakout.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Paker had one catch against Atlanta in the preseason opener for the Dolphins.

He caught the only pass from Matt Moore, as Miami's starters didn't play much. Look for him to get more playing time when Jay Cutler suits up versus the Ravens next Thursday.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

Dolphins receivers coach Shawn Jefferson says DeVante Parker will be a "monster" this year.

According to the Sun-Sentinel, Jefferson said "He’ll be a monster. If he keeps progressing like we think he can, he’ll be invited to the Monster Bowl after the Super Bowl. His name is not DeVante, he’s a Monster. So if he keeps performing like this he’ll be invited to the Monster Ball after the season is over." The hype for the third-year receiver has gone on for months and is now out of control—but it's coming from his own coaches. It'd be a big shock if he didn't provide a big return on his current ADP, which is outside the top 40 receivers.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker made changes to his eating, sleeping habits.

According to ESPN's Dan Graziano, Parker changed the whole way he workouts in the middle of last season when he returned from injury. Receivers coach Shawn Jefferson put together a program for Parker to follow, and the team has noticed the change ever since. Parker apparently was not eating or hydrating close to the way a world-class athlete should to achieve top-level performance. The third-year receiver obviously should stay a lot healthier with these lifestyle changes, and the arrow is pointing way up on his fantasy value, as it has been for the last few months.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker "[blew] up" the first day of Dolphins training camp, according to the Miami Herald.

Armando Salguero wrote the first practice of training camp "did nothing to change" the hope DeVante Parker will have a breakout year. Parker, who was basically challenged by head coach Adam Gase to mature after the season, seems to have gotten the message. Gase said of Parker's practice yesterday, "I think he was looking to not ease into camp. When I saw him last night, I could tell he was ready to get after it." Parker wasn't bad by any stretch over his first two seasons, but he might have turned a switch and could have a monster season in 2017. The talented receiver is currently going outside of the top 100 in fantasy drafts.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

Hype continues to build for a DeVante Parker breakout.

Ryan Tannehill told Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald that "the growth he's had this offseason has been huge." The quarterback said the team is finally seeing Parker at his top speed and compared him to a Ferrari with four flat tires over his past two seasons (because of the foot and hamstring injuries Parker battled). Tannehill also shared that at the last offseason training session that Gase asked, "is it me, or is DeVante really fast?" There are other targets in the Dolphins offense, and Jay Ajayi will likely be the focus of it, but we could be looking at a real breakout season for Parker in 2017.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

ESPN's James Walker projects DeVante Parker under 1,000 yards this season.

Walker went to the Dolphins OTA and minicamps that were open to the media, and based off what he saw, he projects Parker to catch 70 reception for 980 yards and seven touchdowns. Those numbers would have placed Parker in the top 20 of standard scoring for WRs last season. The third-year receiver has been talked up big-time this spring, with many expecting a huge breakout season. Walker's projection is a little conservative compared to some of the talk, but it's just a projection—Parker's numbers could end up quite higher (or quite lower) than this.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

Hype continues for third-year receiver DeVante Parker.

NFL.com's Jeffri Chadiha is among the many reporters that believes Parker is "poised" to breakout this season. Reporters are not the only ones talking up Parker, however, as offensive coordinator Clyde Christensen and head coach Adam Gase have both implied he's ready for a breakout season. Gase recently said it's "evident" Parker is more committed this season and working harder, showing consistency and treating "every day like it's a game." The Dolphins have a lot of good players on the offense, including Jarvis Landry, Julius Thomas, Kenny Stills, and Jay Ajayi, but Parker could emerge as a big-time receiver in his third season in the league. He's a high upside selection in fantasy drafts this summer.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker has been the most improved player for the Dolphins this offseason, according to the Miami Herald.

Multiple sources have told Armando Salguero that the coaches hope Parker will turn into the "dominant threat" they believed he would be when they drafted him in the first round in 2015. Salguero says Parker is eating right, arriving on time, and working hard in pratice, all which were issues his first two years in the league. Hopefully Parker's new approach will turn into a healthy and productive season in 2017, as he definitely has the talent to breakout and become a force for Miami. The 24-year-old wideout will be one of the better late-round receivers to target this summer, especially in standard leagues.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker is "expecting a big season this year."

A couple weeks ago, offensive coordinator Clyde Christensen said he expects a big year from Parker, and Parker agrees. Parker said he made "a couple changes" to his workout routine, including doing more leg work. Because Parker has had hamstring issues in the past, hopefully the leg work helps eliminate that. Parker offers a lot of upside later in fantasy drafts.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

Dolphins offensive coordinator Clyde Christensen said he expects DeVante Parker will have "a great, big year, a gigantic year for us."

Christensen said Parker has looked as good and fast as he's seen him, and that he has the potential to be a "big-play" number one receiver. It's great to hear things like this being said about Parker, as head coach Adam Game had a frank assessment of him needing to be more consistent and show up on time. Parker has a lot of upside in the Dolphins' offense and is one of the better later-round receiver picks for 2017.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

Dolphins HC Adam Gase gives frank assessment of DeVante Parker.

Gase said that Parker needs to be "more consistent" and "show up on time." He obviously thinks Parker has a ton of talent and has said as much during the season, but Gase is expecting more. Parker would be a popular pick to take a big step forward next season, but this is a bit concerning.

UPDATE: Parker responded to someone on Twitter that said perhaps he'd be on time if he cut out his McDonald's, saying "maybe so". Hopefully Parker takes the criticism from his coach seriously and becomes a great receiver in the league.

DeVante Parker catches four-of-six targets in playoff loss to Pittsburgh.

Parker had four catches for 55 yards. The talented Parker should be a popular breakout pick in fantasy drafts next season. Adam Gase has had great things to say about the young receiver, but he has battled injuries through his first two seasons.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker caught five passes for 45 yards in Sunday's loss to New England.

Parker finishes his sophomore campaign with 56 catches for 744 yards and four touchdowns, but he was battling some injuries throughout the season. The playoffs would be a good time for the talented wideout to breakout. Miami heads to Pittsburgh in the Wild Card Round.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker catches 4 passes for 85 yards versus Buffalo.

Parker caught four of seven targets for 85 yards and one touchdown on a catch and run for 56 yards on the Dolphins first possession of the 3rd quarter. Parker had a much improved game compared to his eight yards on two catches last week. Parker continues to be a low-end WR2 as a good playmaker for Miami.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker catches one pass for 17 yards in Week 15.

Quarterback Matt Moore only had 18 pass attempts against the bad New York Jets pass defense, and they didn't need Parker to make a huge impact. He was open for a deep touchdown, but so was Kenny Stills who was the easier throw for Matt Moore on the play. Parker is just a FLEX option against the Bills on Christmas Eve.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker catches only two passes for 14 yards against the Cardinals.

It wasn't an easy matchup for Parker, facing All-Pro corner Patrick Peterson. Parker should have a much better game against the Jets this Saturday. But keep in mind he had only two catches for eight yards in the first matchup versus New York. He'll be a FLEX option.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker plays and scores touchdown after he surprisingly plays.

Parker had three catches for 34 yards and a touchdown against the Ravens. The TD was on a corner route where Parker extended nicely and drug his feet in bounds for six. Parker isn't s great option next week in a matchup with All-Pro cornerback Patrick Peterson.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker (back) is active for the Dolphins.

It's a huge boost to the Dolphins offense in a big game against the Ravens. Parker is a FLEX option as the Dolphins' number one receiver, but there is a risk that he can re-injure his back in the game after he was considered unlikely to play earlier in the week.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker (back) is unlikely to play this week against the Ravens.

Parker hurt his back in the second half of the Dolphins game this past Sunday. It'll be a big blow to the Dolphins offense if Parker can't go in a pivotal matchup against the Ravens.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker catches three-out-of-six targets in Week 12.

Parker had three catches for 64 yards, including a long of 46 yards. He also had a nice catch overturned after a review because his hand came down out of bounds before his other foot. Parker has been a consistent option the last three games, and will try to keep it going against Baltimore next week. He's a FLEX option.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker catches eight out of ten targets in Week 11.

Parker had eight catches for 79 yards and a touchdown, including the game winning touchdown. Parker has turned it on the last two games, scoring 10 and 13 fantasy points. Parker is a good FLEX option as the Dolphins number one receiver next week against the Niners.

DeVante Parker | Patriots WR

DeVante Parker leads Dolphins in receiving in Week 10.

Parker had five catches for 103 yards against the Chargers. After a quiet few weeks, it's good to see Parker have a game like this. Head coach Adam Gase has talked up Parker quite a bit this year, and he could be a difference maker down the stretch. The fact that the Dolphins are riding Jay Ajayi might limit his potential a bit, though. Keep Parker on your roster.
