WOLF SPORTS PROJECTION

Devin Singletary | Bills RB

Devin Singletary (hamstring) officially practiced fully for the Bills.

Coming off the bye week, Singletary looks like he's ready to return after missing the previous three games for Buffalo. The rookie running back showed flashes in his first two NFL games, and he's worth a pickup wherever available if you have roster space. We'll let you know if anything changes, but Singletary should be good to go for Week 7 after practicing fully today. He'll be an immediate FLEX option in a great matchup against the Dolphins.

Devin Singletary | Bills RB

Devin Singletary (hamstring) is officially inactive for Week 5.

Singletary logged limited practices all week, but the Bills are not going to rush their rookie running back at less than 100%. Buffalo has a Week 6 bye, so we would think Singletary will be ready to go returning from the bye week.

Devin Singletary | Bills RB

Devin Singletary (hamstring) is questionable for Week 5.

Singletary will hopefully be able to return after practicing in a limited capacity this week, but Frank Gore is coming off a 100-yard game, so the rookie wouldn’t be much more than a low-floor FLEX option against Tennessee if active. The Bills might ultimately hold Singletary out until he gets in a full practice and can be declared 100%.

Devin Singletary | Bills RB

Devin Singletary (hamstring) officially remains limited in practice.

Ideally, the rookie running back will be a full practice participant tomorrow, which would likely mean he’ll be active on Sunday. For now, he’s up in the air. The final Week 5 injury report will be released tomorrow.

Devin Singletary | Bills RB

Devin Singletary (hamstring) was officially limited in practice.

It's a positive that Singletary is out there for the first practice of the week for the Bills, but the team isn't going to rush the rookie running back back, especially with the way Frank Gore is running, Hopefully Singletary can participate in practice fully tomorrow or Friday.

Devin Singletary | Bills RB

Devin Singletary (hamstring) is officially inactive for Week 4.

There was hope that Singletary would be able to play in a big matchup against the Patriots after practicing on a limited basis on Thursday and Friday, but he’ll miss his second consecutive game. Frank Gore will handle most of the backfield work versus the elite Patriots defense today.

Devin Singletary | Bills RB

Devin Singletary (hamstring) is officially listed as questionable for Sunday.

Singletary was able to practice on a limited basis yesterday and today, and he looks to have a pretty good shot at playing in Buffalo's Week 4 matchup with New England. The rookie running back will be just a FLEX option if he's active against an elite defense, but his status will be known on Sunday morning for the 1:00 PM ET kickoff.

Devin Singletary | Bills RB

Devin Singletary (hamstring) was officially limited in today’s practice.

This is a notable positive step for Singletary after missing Buffalo’s last four practices following his Week 2 hamstrings injury. The Bills would obviously love to have Singletary out there against the 3-0 Patriots in an early battle for first place in the AFC East, and we’d say things are leaning in the positive direction for the rookie running back.

Devin Singletary | Bills RB

Devin Singletary (hamstring) did not practice today.

Singletary missed Week 3 with the injury, and this isn't a good start to Sunday's big matchup against the Patriots. If the rookie can't go, Frank Gore will be locked into another heavy workload, but the opponent makes him more of a touchdown-dependent FLEX play.

Devin Singletary | Bills RB

Devin Singletary (hamstring) has been ruled out for Week 3.

This was where things were trending after Singletary was forced to sit out the first two days of practice. The Bills weren't likely to play a rookie after little to no practice time during the week, and it'll be Frank Gore and T.J. Yeldon handling most of the work in Buffalo's backfield this Sunday. It's been a small sample size, but the Bengals have given up the most fantasy points to opposing running backs through two games. Gore isn't a bad FLEX option for Week 3.

Devin Singletary | Bills RB

Devin Singletary (hamstring) officially did not practice today.

After two straight missed practices with his hamstring issue, it doesn't look good for the rookie running back's Week 3 status. If he doesn't practice on at least a limited basis tomorrow, the Bills might rule him out ahead of the weekend, as the coaching staff might be against putting a rookie out there on gameday after no practice time during the week. If he's available in your league, an inactive Singletary would make Frank Gore a plug-and-play option if you're looking for help in your FLEX spot.

Devin Singletary (hamstring) officially did not practice today.

It's only Wednesday, so it's not a surprise Singletary sat out today's practice after just suffering the hamstring injury last Sunday. We'll keep you updated on the rookie running back's status over the next couple of days.

Devin Singletary | Bills RB

Devin Singletary leaves game with apparent hamstring injury.

Singletary just hobbled off the field during a fourth-quarter carry, and he appeared to grab his hamstring. It doesn't look like he'll return with Buffalo up 14 points with under five minutes to go. The rookie had six carries for 57 yards and a touchdown while working in tandem with before leaving, and hopefully this injury doesn't force him to miss more time past today.

Devin Singletary | Bills RB

Devin Singletary received first-team reps during offseason training.

Nate Mendelson of BuffaloBills.com writes that veterans LeSean McCoy and Frank Gore split work with the third-round rookie running back, adding to "[e]xpect the competition for snaps to heat up during training camp." It sounds like Buffalo will have a flat-out running back competition this summer, and the rookie Singletary might have a chance to win the starting role immediately after already getting starter reps during the spring. Singletary was selected with the No. 74 pick in the draft, so the Bills were obviously high on him coming out of FAU. The running back situation of the Bills will be one of the most interesting positions to watch throughout training camp.

Devin Singletary | Bills RB

The Bills have selected Florida Atlantic running back Devin Singletary with the No. 74 pick (third round) in the 2019 NFL Draft.

Singletary dominated in Conference USA for FAU during his three college seasons, with rushing lines of 151/1,021/12, 301/1,918/32, and 261/1,348/22. The knock on Singletary is his size (five-foot-seven, 203 pounds), but the production is tough to ignore, making him someone to certainly keep an eye on in dynasty leagues in particular. He could force his way onto the field for a decent number of snaps as a rookie, too, but LeSean McCoy and Frank Gore are likely to handle most of the carries in Buffalo. The dynasty-league upside is intriguing.
