WOLF SPORTS PROJECTION

D’Wayne Eskridge | Seahawks WR

The Seahawks activated Dee Eskridge from injured reserve.

Eskridge is back for the first time since Week 1, as the rookie missed seven games. Eskridge will help complement D.K. Metcalf and Tyler Lockett in the Seattle passing attack.

D’Wayne Eskridge | Seahawks WR

The Seahawks have placed Dee Eskridge on injured reserve.

Eskridge has unfortunately been dealing with a concussion and has already missed a few games, but now he'll be out for at least three more weeks. Seattle just promoted Phillip Dorsett from the practice squad ahead of tonight's game and will look for him to provide speed behind D.K. Metcalf and Tyler Lockett. Hopefully Eskridge is able to heal up soon.

Dee Eskridge (concussion) ruled out for Week 5.

The rookie has unfortunately had trouble getting cleared to return to action, but hopefully he's feeling better soon, and the extended time off before Week 6 will help. Freddie Swain will be the No. 3 wideout for Seattle on Thursday night.

The Seahawks ruled out Dee Eskridge for Week 2.

Eskridge remains in concussion protocol and will not play tomorrow against the Colts. The Seahawks appear to have a clear role for Eskridge behind D.K. Metcalf and Tyler Lockett, and hopefully the rookie is feeling better and can return soon.

D’Wayne Eskridge | Seahawks WR

The Seahawks activated D'Wayne Eskridge from the PUP list.

Eskridge will finally be able to practice for the Seahawks, and the speedy rookie will look to carve out a role in the Seattle offense. Ideally, the second-round pick will be able to participate in the team's final preseason game next week.

D’Wayne Eskridge | Seahawks WR

The Seahawks have placed D'Wayne Eskridge (foot) on the PUP list.

Eskridge will now miss valuable time if the absence extends too far into August, and it's worth noting that young speed receivers have often struggled with injuries in recent years. Whenever he can get healthy, Eskridge will look to establish himself as a field-stretcher and underneath weapon alongside D.K. Metcalf and Tyler Lockett.

D’Wayne Eskridge | Seahawks WR

The Seahawks have selected Western Michigan wide receiver D’Wayne Eskridge with the No. 56 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.

Eskridge is a big-play receiver that primarily lines up in the slot where he uses his elite speed to get vertical. He can also contribute as a dangerous return man, which might be where his primary fit comes as a rookie. The big concern right now is Eskridge polishing his game as a route runner, but learning from Tyler Lockett should be the perfect situation for him. Fantasy owners should look to him as a high-upside stash catching passes from Russell Wilson.
