WOLF SPORTS PROJECTION

Dwayne Harris | Texans WR

The Texans are signing Dwayne Harris to their practice squad, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler.

Harris could potentially make an impact as an accomplished returner if promoted to the active roster, but he's not currently on the fantasy radar.

Dwayne Harris | Texans WR

Dwayne Harris (ankle) has been ruled out for Week 3.

Harris toughed it out in Week 2 and continued playing, but he's now out for Week 3. New addition Trevor Davis is set to contribute on special teams for the Raiders against the Vikings.

Dwayne Harris | Texans WR

Dwayne Harris (ankle) has returned to the game for Oakland.

This is a big surprise. It looked like Harris would certainly be done for the day after he left the game, but he's showing toughness to get back out there for his team. Harris will mostly contribute on special teams.

Dwayne Harris | Texans WR

Dwayne Harris leaves game with apparent leg injury.

Harris went down on a punt return and looked to be in serious pain. The veteran receiver/returner was helped to the sideline and appeared unable to put much pressure on his leg. Hopefully Harris' injury isn't as serious as it looks, but Oakland will need someone to fill in as the primary punt returner.

Dwayne Harris | Texans WR

The Raiders have re-signed Dwayne Harris.

Harris was exceptional in his first year as the team's return man (including a memorable punt return score on Christmas Eve), and he should once again make an impact in the role next season. The veteran isn't on the fantasy radar as mostly depth on offense.

Dwayne Harris | Texans WR

Dwayne Harris returns punt for 99-yard touchdown against the Broncos.

Harris got things started off right for the Raiders in their Christmas Eve victory in the last game at the Coliseum, making an alert play on a punt return, as he realized the Broncos touched the ball (attempting to down it inside the five-yard line), giving him the ability to pick it up and run with it without the risk of losing it via a fumble. It seems some players are unaware of this rule, and it was good to see Harris making the play. On the 99-yard return, he got to the sideline and received great blocking on his way to the end zone. The score set the tone for Oakland as it picked up its fourth victory of the season.

Dwayne Harris | Texans WR

Dwayne Harris catches one pass against Kansas City.

Harris gained nine yards on his lone Week 13 reception. Harris is mostly a special-teams contributor for Oakland, so he's not a recommended fantasy option right now.

Dwayne Harris | Texans WR

Dwayne Harris handles one touch in loss to the Chargers.

It was a reception for no gain on a fourth down near the goal line. Harris isn't a recommended fantasy option for the 1-8 Raiders.

Dwayne Harris | Texans WR

Dwayne Harris catches one pass in Week 9 loss.

It went for 13 yards. Oakland's return man isn't a recommended fantasy option with a limited offensive role.

Dwayne Harris | Texans WR

Dwayne Harris rushes for 13 yards in Week 8 loss.

Harris had a nice gain on a jet sweep for his only offensive touch of the game. Oakland's primary returner isn't on the fantasy radar.

Dwayne Harris | Texans WR

Dwayne Harris catches one pass in Week 6.

Harris' lone reception went for seven yards. Harris is not a fantasy option outside of leagues that grant points for return yardage.

Dwayne Harris | Texans WR

Dwayne Harris catches two passes in Week 3.

Harris gained 11 yards on his two receptions, as he got more playing time with Seth Roberts a healthy inactive. Harris is not on the fantasy radar in standard leagues.

Dwayne Harris | Texans WR

Dwayne Harris (foot) is inactive against the Broncos.

Harris is a key contributor on special teams for the Raiders, so other guys will need to step up there. He was off the fantasy radar, though.

Dwayne Harris | Texans WR

The Raiders signed Dwayne Harris.

After Oakland traded Cordarrelle Patterson to New England a few weeks ago, Harris gives them an ace special teamer to help anchor the unit. Harris might step in as the team's kick and/or punt returner, but at the very least he'll contribute on kick and punt coverage. The Raiders might also get the ball in Harris' hands on offense some, but he's not a recommended fantasy option.

Dwayne Harris | Texans WR

Dwayne Harris is getting foot surgery.

His fractured foot is to the fifth metatarsal bone, a common injury that many athletes have had. Hopefully Harris is ready to go for 2018 training camp. The Giants need others to chip in on special teams for Harris for the rest of the year.

Dwayne Harris | Texans WR

Dwayne Harris is out for the season with a fractured foot, according to Adam Schefter.

The Giants had all of Odell Beckham Jr., Brandon Marshall, Sterling Shepard, and Harris go down against the Chargers today. So now Harris, who is also an excellent special teams player, is out for the season, and it looks like OBJ could be as well. If Marshall and Shepard can't go next Sunday night against the Broncos, the Giants would have three or four new active receivers to go along with Roger Lewis. Harris is still under contract through 2019 with the Giants, and he should be 100% well before training camp next summer.

Dwayne Harris catches first pass of the season for a touchdown.

Harris caught a 13-yard touchdown on a fade route. It was a nice catch by Harris, as he made it look easy. Harris obviously isn't a good fantasy option and is more helpful for the Giants.
