WOLF SPORTS PROJECTION

Harrison Bryant | Browns TE

The Browns activated Harrison Bryant from the reserve/COVID-19 list.

Bryant is cleared just in time for tomorrow night's playoff game against the Steelers, which is great to hear. The rookie tight end should be good to make the trip to Pittsburgh and contribute along with Austin Hooper and David Njoku.

Harrison Bryant has tested positive for COVID-19, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.

Bryant was already on the reserve/COVID-19 list as a high-risk close contact, and he will now miss Week 17 after testing positive. The rookie campaign for Cleveland's fourth-round pick ends with 24 receptions, 238 yards, and three touchdowns, but the Browns are obviously hoping this isn't the last we see of him if they can get into the playoffs. With David Njoku likely playing elsewhere in 2021, Bryant will be a candidate for a Year 2 leap alongside Austin Hooper.

The Browns placed Harrison Bryant on the reserve/COVID-19 list.

Cleveland is having a bit of a COVID issue, but hopefully this is just a close contact situation and Bryant can get cleared soon.

The Browns have selected Florida Atlantic tight end Harrison Bryant with the No. 115 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Bryant was a first-team All-American last season after caching 65 passes for 1,004 yards and seven touchdowns in Lane Kiffin's offense, and he could immediately have a role for a Cleveland squad that wants to use multiple tight ends. This pick could mean David Njoku will be on the move with Austin Hooper locked in as the starter, but Bryant may have more of an H-back role to start his career.
