WOLF SPORTS PROJECTION

Jalen Reagor | Eagles WR

Jalen Reagor (ankle) has been ruled out for the rest of today.

Reagor has been ruled out to begin the second half after he was injured earlier in the game. Before leaving the Week 8 game, Reagor had two carries for 21 yards and one reception for no yards. Hopefully Reagor doesn't miss much more time after today with this ankle issue.

Jalen Reagor leaves game with apparent ankle injury.

Reagor didn’t seem to have a noticeable injury, but he was carted to the locker room after heading to the sideline, so there’s a decent chance he doesn’t return. Look for Quez Watkins to have an increased role for the Eagles.

Jalen Reagor | Eagles WR

Jalen Reagor (head) has been ruled out for the rest of tonight.

Reagor had one reception for 15 yards before leaving against Washington, and his rookie season ends with 31 receptions for 386 yards and one touchdown along with four carries for 26 yards in 11 games. The first-round pick will look to make a big leap in 2021.

Jalen Reagor | Eagles WR

Jalen Reagor (ankle) is officially questionable to return for the Eagles.

It's late in the fourth quarter, so Reagor might have trouble returning against the Cardinals. The rookie receiver has had a solid Week 15, with five receptions for 48 yards before leaving. Reagor has shown a nice connection with new Eagles starter Jalen Hurts over the past couple of weeks.

The Eagles are activating Jalen Reagor (hand) from IR.

Reagor is set to return this Sunday night against the Cowboys, and he could immediately be used in lineups as an upside FLEX because of the matchup. The Eagles will likely have Reagor, Travis Fulgham, and Greg Ward as their primary receivers with others mixing in.

The Eagles activated the practice window for Jalen Reagor (hand).

Reagor now has 21 days to practice before he must be activated to the 53-man roster or remain on IR for the season. Reagor should be able to get back onto the field relatively quickly, and he should already be in fine shape because of the nature of his injury.

Jalen Reagor (thumb) is expected to miss a few weeks.

Reagor suffered a UCL tear in his thumb and finished the game last Sunday, but the rookie receiver is now going to miss time with the injury. Drew Brees, though a quarterback that suffered the injury to his throwing hand, missed five games last season with a UCL tear, so that could be around the timeline for Reagor's return. The TCU product has upside, but he's not a must-hold in redraft leagues if you need roster space. Reagor will be placed on injured reserve and will miss a minimum of three games.

Jalen Reagor | Eagles WR

Jalen Reagor (shoulder) was a full participant in Thursday's practice.

Reagor was reported to be a candidate to return in Week 2 after avoiding IR, but this participation would suggest he's actually not going to miss any games at all, which is a great sign for his health and 2020 outlook. Philly's first-round pick should be owned in all formats and could quickly emerge as the team's top wide receiver.

Jalen Reagor dealing with shoulder injury.

Reagor left practice early to day and is said to be getting an MRI to determine the extent of his shoulder injury, but the Eagles reportedly believe it’s not serious. Philadelphia’s first game is just two weeks away, though, so the dynamic first-round rookie’s status is at least in some doubt as things stand. More information on Reagor should become available in the next day or so.

Jalen Reagor | Eagles WR

Doug Pederson says Jalen Reagor will start learning at the Z.

Talking with reporters via webcam, the Eagles head coach says that the first-round rookie receiver will start his career learning from DeSean Jackson at the Z receiver position. Pederson added that when Reagor is comfortable with that position, he'll be able to move around more (particularly inside at the slot). Clearly, Philadelphia sees the TCU product as a long-term speedster at the Z, similar to the role Tyreek Hill plays in the Chiefs offense. The shortened offseason due to COVID-19 might make it more difficult for rookies to see playing time, but Reagor should find his way onto the field a good amount in 2020, and his long-term upside is very high in Pederson's offense.

Jalen Reagor | Eagles WR

The Eagles have selected TCU wide receiver Jalen Reagor with the No. 21 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Reagor was underrated by much of the media, but the NFL was unsurprisingly higher on him as he comes off the board on Day 1. The explosive deep threat can win at all three levels, and based on just how he moves/plays, the Eagles may believe they found their future No. 1 target to grow with quarterback Carson Wentz. Offensive struggles as a whole for TCU limited Reagor to just 611 receiving yards and five scores in 2019, but he had a 1,000-yard season in 2018 and 26 total scores in three years. From a fantasy perspective, Reagor should likely be drafted late as a high-upside lottery ticket in the mid-to-late rounds in 2020. Reagor's scouting report can be viewed in the link below.
