The Bills are signing Jamison Crowder to a one-year deal.
Crowder is getting a deal worth up to $4 million as he jumps from the Jets to a division rival, and this is likely a best-case scenario for his 2022 value by joining the high-powered Buffalo offense. It's also good news for Gabriel Davis and his status as the No. 2 wideout, as Crowder should split time with Isaiah McKenzie handling slot duties and could have a role similar to Cole Beasley down the stretch last season—with varied playing time possible depending on the weekly matchup. We'll see if the Bills end up adding another wideout with a Day 1 or Day 2 pick in next month's draft.
Jamison Crowder (groin) is officially active for Week 4.
Crowder practiced fully on Friday and is ready to make his 2021 debut. The veteran receiver should be a good presence in middle of the field for rookie quarterback Zach Wilson.
Jamison Crowder (groin) is doubtful for Week 3.
New York is likely to be without the veteran for the third week in a row, so Corey Davis, Elijah Moore, and Keelan Cole project to be the top three wideouts again. We’ll see if the Jets decide to make Denzel Mims active.
Jamison Crowder (groin) will be a game-time decision for Week 3.
The Jets don't play until 4:05 on Sunday, so if you were planning to use Crowder in your fantasy lineup, be sure to have a backup plan in place from the later slate of games.
Jamison Crowder is inactive for Week 2.
The expectation was that Crowder would be active after missing the opener, but he will take another week. This news should keep Elijah Moore in an every-down role, and Keelan Cole—inactive last week—will make his team debut. Denzel Mims is also inactive for the Jets despite shining when given an opportunity in the opener.
Jamison Crowder (groin) is officially questionable for Week 2.
Keelan Cole (knee) is also questionable ahead of a matchup against the Patriots, and both are shaping up to be game-time calls. The Jets play in the early window on Sunday, so the status of both receivers will be known by 11:30 ET that morning.
Jamison Crowder has been activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list.
Crowder should make his season debut this weekend against the Patriots, but it will be interesting to see how the snaps are divided at wide receiver. We would guess rookie Elijah Moore might start alongside Corey Davis on the outside with Crowder in his usual slot role, and Denzel Mims is hoping for expanded snaps after impressing with a 40-yard reception in limited playing time last week.
Jamison Crowder is out for Week 1.
Crowder remains on the reserve/COVID-19 list, and he's been ruled out for Sunday against the Panthers. Second-round rookie Elijah Moore should be poised for a huge role immediately this Sunday.
Jamison Crowder tested positive for COVID-19.
NFL Network's Tom Pelissero and Ian Rapoport report that the belief is that this is an "isolated" case, but it's obviously concerning either way with just a little over a week to go before the season opener. Crowder is now looking shaky for Week 1, and hopefully he's feeling better soon. If he's vaccinated, the NFL's rules would allow him to return sooner than he otherwise would be able to.
Jamison Crowder has restructured his contract.
Talk was that the Jets wanted Crowder to take a big pay cut, and the veteran receiver will indeed remain in New York this season after a renegotiated deal. The Jets are now locked in with Crowder, Corey Davis, Denzel Mims, and rookie Elijah Moore as their top four receivers in 2021. From a fantasy perspective, the crowded receiving group makes things difficult. For now, expect Crowder to man the slot with Moore moving around the formation before potentially taking over the slot role next year after Crowder hits free agency.
Jamison Crowder (calf) is officially active for Week 15.
Just like last week, Crowder is active despite being listed as questionable with a calf injury. Overall, Crowder is on the FLEX radar and can do some damage, but there might be better fantasy options this week.
Jamison Crowder (calf) is officially questionable for Week 15.
We would expect Crowder to play after suiting up last week, but he isn't a highly recommended fantasy option against the Rams' league-best pass defense. The Jets are hoping to avoid an 0-14 start by pulling off an upset this weekend.
Jamison Crowder (calf) is officially active against the Seahawks.
Crowder has been a bit banged up all season, but he’ll be available for Sam Darnold and company for this afternoon’s Week 14 contest. Crowder is in the FLEX mix for the first week of the fantasy playoffs.
Jamison Crowder (calf) is questionable for Week 14.
The Jets haven't practiced yet today, and Crowder will apparently be evaluated after practice, so perhaps there'll be more clarity on his status before the weekend. The bad news is the Jets kickoff at 4:05 PM ET this week, so Crowder's status might not be known until the early Sunday games get underway.
Jamison Crowder (groin) is officially active for Monday night.
Crowder is back after missing two games with his groin issue. When Crowder has been on the field this season, he's been a very good fantasy option. But tonight against New England is a difficult matchup.
Jamison Crowder (groin) is officially inactive for Week 8.
Unfortunately, Crowder has dealt with multiple injuries and has ben unable to stay on the field consistently for the Jets. This is Crowder’s fourth missed game this season.
Jamison Crowder (groin) is officially listed as doubtful for Sunday.
Crowder did not practice today, and Jets head coach Adam Gase said that it was not looking good for him to return this week. Crowder hit the practice field yesterday, and it apparently did not go well. He’ll likely be ruled out on Sunday morning.
Jamison Crowder (groin) will practice on a limited basis today.
This is positive step in the right direction for Crowder, and he should have a shot to play Sunday against the Chiefs. We'll see how the slot receiver is listed on the final Week 8 injury report when it's released tomorrow.
Jamison Crowder (groin) is officially inactive for the Jets.
Crowder was downgraded to doubtful yesterday, so this was fully expected. Crowder has been productive when he’s been on the field, but this will be his third missed game this season.
The Jets have downgraded Jamison Crowder (groin) to doubtful for Week 7.
Crowder will likely be sidelined, which is unfortunate because he had a great matchup against a Buffalo defense that he’s had a ton of success versus. Look for second-round pick Denzel Mims to have an immediate role in his career debut.
Jamison Crowder (groin) is officially listed as questionable for Week 7.
Crowder was limited in today's practice, and we'd think he has a pretty good shot to play this Sunday against the Bills. With the Jets playing at 1:00 PM ET, Crowder's status will be known on Sunday morning.
Jamison Crowder (hamstring) is officially active for Thursday night.
Crowder posted a 7/115/1 line in the opener, so this is a big boost to an injured Jets offense tonight against the Broncos. Crowder is in the FLEX mix—with some risk—in his first game back in the lineup.
Jamison Crowder (hamstring) is questionable for Thursday night.
There is hope that Crowder will be active, but we probably won't know until tomorrow evening. The veteran slot receiver would immediately be back on the FLEX radar and projects to have a healthy target share on an offense that currently lacks weapons.
Jamison Crowder (hamstring) will be limited in today's practice.
After missing the past two games with his hamstring injury, Crowder appears to have a shot to play in Week 4. With the Jets playing on Thursday night, we'll find out Crowder's official status on the final injury report of the week when it's released tomorrow.
Jamison Crowder (hamstring) has officially been ruled out for Week 3.
Crowder remains week-to-week with his hamstring injury, which is a tough blow to the Jets after head coach Adam Gase called the slot receiver probably their best player on offense since last season.
Jamison Crowder (hamstring) is out for Week 2.
Adam Gase referred to Crowder as "probably our best player on offense the last two years," so New York will be counting on Breshad Perriman, Chris Herndon, and Chris Hogan to boost the passing game—especially with Le'Veon Bell (hamstring) also out. Not even being a game-time call could make Crowder questionable again in Week 3, but not being placed on IR is at least a good sign. We think Perriman is a strong upside FLEX with Richard Sherman (calf) not in the 49ers' lineup.
Jamison Crowder (hamstring) will not practice today.
Crowder injured his hamstring in yesterday's practice, so his Week 2 status is now in doubt. This could be a similar situation to Kenny Golladay with the Lions after he was injured last Wednesday and was unable to play in the season opener. We'll see how Crowder is listed on the final Week 2 injury report when it's released tomorrow.
Jamison Crowder has been medically cleared and is expected to practice tomorrow.
Crowder left practice yesterday and got an MRI on his foot, so this is great news for New York's new slot receiver, who is hoping to quickly form a connection with quarterback Sam Darnold. The Jets will likely rely on Crowder more early in the season while tight end Chris Herndon serves a four-game suspension.
Jamison Crowder will undergo an MRI on his foot.
Crowder was injured and had to leave practice earlier today. Losing a starting slot receiver for any amount of time while Adam Gase installs his offense with quarterback Sam Darnold and the Jets won’t be ideal, but hopefully Crowder doesn’t miss much time. We'll update you as more information becomes available.
The Jets have agreed to a deal with Jamison Crowder, according to multiple reports.
NFL Network was first to report this deal was close, and now multiple reports say the two sides have come to an agreement. This signing—which cannot become official until Wednesday—is a bit of a surprise considering Quincy Enunwa looked set to man the slot for the Jets, but head coach Adam Gase has said that Enunwa's role can be expanded. Robby Anderson, Enunwa, and Crowder are set to enter 2019 as the team's top three receivers. Crowder figures to have most of his fantasy value in deeper PPR leagues, though Anderson and Enunwa will likely still be the preferred option in that scoring format.
Jamison Crowder catches one pass for seven yards against the Eagles.
Crowder's injury-plagued season ends with 29 receptions for 388 yards and two touchdowns along with four receptions for 30 yards in nine games. Crowder is set to become a free agent this offseason, but he might have to settle for a short-term deal after this disappointing year.
Jamison Crowder leads the Redskins in Week 16 receiving.
Crowder caught five passes for 78 yards in the Redskins' Saturday afternoon loss to the Titans. With Vernon Davis, Jordan Reed, and Maurice Harris out, and Chris Thompson getting just one target, Crowder was the most reliable receiver for Josh Johnson. Crowder has now passed 75+ yards in two of the last three games, and he could potentially deliver some FLEX value to finish off the season next week against the Eagles.
Jamison Crowder caught four passes for 46 yards in Sunday's win over the Jags.
Crowder actually led the team in receptions, yards, and targets (four) as Josh Johnson threw for just 151 yards in a spread-it-out attack. Washington's slot receiver gets a good matchup against the Titans next week due to a broken leg for Logan Ryan, but he won't be a recommended play in the fantasy championship.
Jamison Crowder catches 79-yard touchdown in Week 14 loss.
Crowder was able to get loose for a long score in the fourth quarter of a 40-16 loss, and he finished with two receptions for 87 yards. The entire Washington offense is probably better left out of lineups at this point, so Crowder can stay on the waiver wire heading into a matchup against the Jaguars.
Jamison Crowder caught four passes for 36 yards in Monday night's loss to the Eagles.
He also rushed once for a loss of five yards on a busted trick play. Crowder hadn't been on the field for nearly two months, but he returned in his usual role. However, Colt McCoy (leg) is now done for the year, so Washington's passing attack will have a lower floor and ceiling the rest of the way as Mark Sanchez—with little experience as a Redskin—takes over as the starter. Crowder won't be a strong play next week against the Giants.
Jamison Crowder (ankle) is officially active against the Eagles.
After missing the last seven games, Crowder is back in the lineup for the Redskins. Crowder has some upside against an injured Eagles cornerback group, but he's not a highly-recommended fantasy option in his first game back.
Jamison Crowder (ankle) is officially listed as questionable for Monday night.
Crowder has missed the last seven games with his ankle injury, so we'd think he's close to a return. He'll be difficult to trust fantasy lineups if he makes his return, so it's probably not worth waiting to see if he plays on Monday night.
Jamison Crowder (ankle) is inactive for the Redskins.
Crowder was a non-participant in the practices/walkthroughs this week, so this isn't a surprise. Being listed as questionable indicates he could be close to a return, though. However, Crowder does not need to be owned in fantasy leagues right now.
Jamison Crowder (ankle) is officially listed as questionable for Week 12.
Crowder has missed seven straight games with his ankle injury, but he looks to have a chance to suit up on Thanksgiving despite not practicing all week. Crowder wouldn't be a highly-recommended fantasy option in his first game back in the lineup against a tough Cowboys defense, but his presence would be a boost for his team in real life. His official game status will be known by 3:00 PM ET tomorrow.
Jamison Crowder (ankle) has been ruled out for Week 11.
Crowder hasn't played since Week 5, and he will miss another game for Washington as they look to pull away in the NFC East. The Duke product is unlikely to be cleared for the Thanksgiving matchup against the Cowboys, so he doesn't need to be owned in redraft leagues.
Jamison Crowder (ankle) has been ruled out for Week 10.
Crowder remains week-to-week in what's certainly been a frustrating contract-year for him. Perhaps he'll look to get healthy for a Thanksgiving matchup with the Cowboys in a couple weeks, but we'll see if he's able to face the Texans next week. Maurice Harris and Josh Doctson will be Washington's top two receivers tomorrow against the Buccaneers.
Jamison Crowder (ankle) is officially out against the Falcons.
This will be the fourth straight missed game for Crowder, who remains week-to-week with his ankle injury.
Jamison Crowder (ankle) remains out of practice.
Crowder looks headed for a questionable tag at best for Week 9, but we'll see how he's listed when the official injury report is released tomorrow.
Jamison Crowder (ankle) has been ruled out for Week 8.
This is Crowder's second straight missed game, and it's not a good sign that he was ruled out ahead of the weekend. Consider Crowder week-to-week for now, and he doesn't need to be owned in standard-sized fantasy leagues.
Jamison Crowder (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Cowboys.
It will be Crowder's second missed game in a row, and he doesn't seem particularly close to returning. Perhaps he will be able to trend up towards a game-time decision in Week 8, but Crowder doesn't need to be owned in 10- or 12-team leagues if you don't have an IR spot to stash him on with bye weeks kicking in.
Jamison Crowder (ankle) is inactive against the Panthers.
Crowder did not practice all week, so this isn’t a surprise. Consider him week-to-week for now, and his absence in today’s game could mean a bigger role for Jordan Reed in the slot.
Jamison Crowder (ankle) is questionable for Sunday against the Panthers.
It would be a surprise if Crowder missed the game because of his ankle injury, but he's no lock to play in the Week 6 matchup. Check back in for Crowder's official game status at 11:30 AM ET on Sunday.
Jamison Crowder leads Washington in receiving as they get blown out on Monday Night Football.
Crowder caught four passes for 55 yards while tying for the team lead in targets. He had a couple downfield opportunities, but Crowder and Alex Smith couldn't connect. Through four games, the Redskins' slot receiver is on pace for just a 52/536/4 receiving line, but we think he should be able to best those numbers as the schedule softens up. Also, Chris Thompson (knee) potentially missing time would likely be a boost to Crowder. He's a decent FLEX option next Sunday against the Panthers.
Jamison Crowder scores in win over the Packers.
Crowder caught four passes for 39 yards, including a nine-yard touchdown in the second quarter. He also rushed once for six yards. Washington did most of their damage in the first half of a 31-17 victory, and they'll now head into the bye week at 2-1. Crowder should be considered a decent FLEX option in a potential shootout with the Saints in a couple weeks.
Jamison Crowder gets four touches in Week 2.
Crowder had the biggest run of the day for the Redskins, gaining 25 yards. Overall, he had two receptions for eight receiving yards and two carries for 29 rushing yards against the Colts. Next week, Crowder faces the Packers. Green Bay has different scheme and personnel, but Crowder had three receptions for 102 yards and a touchdown in their 2016 matchup.
Jamison Crowder catches three passes against the Cardinals
Crowder gained 32 yards on his three receptions. He’ll look to find more room to navigate against the Colts next week.
Alex Smith talks up Jamison Crowder.
It sounds like Smith and Crowder have quickly formed a good connection in their first offseason together. According to John Keim of ESPN, Smith said Crowder is "so easy to read as a quarterback. Such great body control, body language, He sees defense well and it's hardest to do that in between the hashes." Smith went on to say Crowder has "things you know as a quarterback come crunch time that here's a guy who will constantly work his tail off to get open." Through three NFL seasons, Crowder has 192 receptions, 2,240 yards and 12 touchdowns. There are a good amount of weapons in Washington—including Jordan Reed, Vernon Davis, Paul Richardson, Chris Thompson, and Josh Doctson—but Crowder could end up being Smith's most trusted target. A 1,000-yard season is certainly possible for the Redskins' slot man in 2018.
Jamison Crowder held in check as Redskins finish the season with road loss.
Crowder caught three passes for 25 yards and rushed once for negative-one yard in an 18-10 defeat. The former Duke receiver was a popular breakout pick over the summer, but he regressed in his third year with a 66/789/3 line in 15 games. Crowder was probably hurt by Jordan Reed being out for the most part and no one else stepping up as a true #1 option, but he will look to bounce back in his age-25 season. He could be a value at the end of fantasy drafts.
Jamison Crowder scores in win over the Broncos.
Crowder caught four passes for 47 yards and a touchdown, which came from 15 yards out in the second quarter. The former Duke star hasn't had the breakout many expected this year, as he has quite a bit of work to do in the season finale to meet his 2016 numbers. Consider him a quality FLEX against the Giants next Sunday, especially in PPR leagues.
Jamison Crowder scores in win over the Cardinals.
Crowder caught five passes for 55 yards, including a five-yard touchdown in the first quarter. Washington's slot receiver avoided Patrick Peterson and was able to have a nice day with Kirk Cousins throwing for less than 200 yards. Crowder will be a risky play on Christmas Eve against the Broncos, but their reputation has been better than their on-field play this season. Still, he's no better than a decent FLEX in standard leagues.
Jamison Crowder caught three passes for 34 yards in Sunday's loss to the Chargers.
Crowder had been coming on strong with at least 67 yards in five-straight weeks, but this was a disappointment for owners in the first week of the fantasy playoffs. He will look to bounce back next Sunday at home against the Cardinals, and he should avoid Patrick Peterson for the most part.
Jamison Crowder catches five passes versus the Cowboys.
Crowder gained 67 yards on his five receptions in tonight's loss, and he did also lose a fumble on a muffed punt. It's good to see Crowder continue working as a reliable guy out of the slot for Kirk Cousins, and the long reception on the night for the Redskins came from him on a 33-yarder where he came back for a catch from a scrambling Cousins and zoomed through the defense for good yardage. Crowder will remain a viable option in Week 14 against the Chargers.
Jamison Crowder scores first touchdown of the season on Thanksgiving.
The preseason breakout pick continues to put together some excellent games after his slow start to the season, catching seven of ten targets for a career-high 141 yards and a touchdown (his first of the season) against the Giants. The score was a 15-yarder on a play where he came back to a scrambling Kirk Cousins, who hit him with a strike in the end zone on the run. And Crowder also had a long of 38 yards on a pass down the field. He's become a favorite target of Cousins over the last few weeks, so Crowder should be in most fantasy lineups in Week 13 against the Cowboys.
Jamison Crowder catches seven passes in Week 11.
Crowder appears to be fully healthy and looking a lot like many expected him to before the season. He gained 72 yards on his seven receptions (eight targets) and also added a four-yard carry. Crowder will be in the FLEX conversation for Thanksgiving night against the Giants.
Jamison Crowder plays well in Week 10.
Crowder appeared to be over his hamstring issues, as he made some big plays for Kirk Cousins on deep-intermediate passes. Overall, Crowder caught four of 11 targets for 76 yards, while also adding a five-yard carry on one attempt. In his last two healthy games, Crowder has had 123 and 76 yards, so he's back squarely in the FLEX conversation after a slow start to the season.
Jamison Crowder (hamstring) is officially active against the Vikings.
This was expected, and now it's official. Crowder scored against Minnesota last season, and the Redskins are without Jordan Reed, so Crowder is a sneaky good play as a target for Kirk Cousins in the middle of the field against the stingy defense of the Vikings. Consider him in the FLEX conversation if you're struggling with bye weeks.
Jamison Crowder (hamstring) is questionable for Sunday.
Crowder was limited in practice all week and indicated that he will be on the field against the Vikings, but be sure to check back in on Sunday morning when the actives/inactives are released. Crowder scored in last season's matchup with the Vikings.
Jamison Crowder (hamstring) remained limited in practice.
Crowder is stringing together some limited participations, but it'd be nice to see him get a full practice in tomorrow before the official injury report for the game comes out. Consider Crowder 50/50 for now, and he'll likely be listed as questionable tomorrow.
Jamison Crowder (hamstring) was limited in today's practice.
After not being able to practice all week last week before missing the game versus Seattle, this is a positive for Crowder's Week 10 status. He's one of the players to keep a close eye on this week, as the Redskins will probably need him to play and step up as a reliable guy from the slot against Minnesota's stingy defense.
Jamison Crowder (hamstring) has been downgraded to out for Week 9.
Crowder was listed as questionable despite doubt that he'd be able to suit up, but now he officially will not play versus Seattle. With Jordan Reed (hamstring) also out, the Redskins will likely have their hands full in a difficult matchup with the Seahawks. This could mean benched receiver Terrelle Pryor gets some more time this week, with Josh Doctson and Ryan Grant likely to be the two starters. None are inspiring fantasy options this week, but Doctson is probably the best play of the three.
Jamison Crowder (hamstring) is questionable for Week 9.
Crowder didn't practice all week, so there's obvious concern about his status for Sunday against the Seahawks. With Jordan Reed already out, this would put quarterback Kirk Cousins at a huge disadvantage in a very difficult matchup. Crowder would be a decent FLEX option if he's active, but it's a late-afternoon game, meaning you'll have to have another option ready to insert into your lineup in case he's inactive.
Jamison Crowder breaks out in loss to Dallas.
Crowder caught nine passes for 123 yards after being held to a combined 19 receptions for 149 yards through the first six games of the season. He still hasn't found the end zone this season, but fantasy owners who stuck with Crowder have to be encouraged. You probably have better options in Week 9, but we wouldn't completely go away from Crowder against Seattle, as he's the type of receiver to give them trouble.
Jamison Crowder catches two passes in Week 7.
Crowder caught two of five targets for 28 yards while also adding a three-yard carry in a Monday night loss to the Eagles. The Redskins want to get Crowder involved on offense, but it didn't work out tonight. He'll look to get going against Dallas next week, but Crowder is not a recommended fantasy option at the moment.
Jamison Crowder gets four touches in Week 6.
Crowder carries once for 11 yards and had three receptions for 15 yards. The popular breakout pick just hasn't done much yet this season and is best left on the bench for now.
Jamison Crowder doesn't do anything in Week 4.
Crowder did not have any catches against the Chiefs until the final play where the Redskins did laterals and ended up giving up a defensive touchdown to Justin Houston. Crowder was given a -7-yard reception on the play, so he ended up with no fantasy points. He had some breakout appeal this season, but Crowder isn't a recommended fantasy option right now. The Redskins have a bye in Week 5.
Jamison Crowder (hamstring) is questionable for Monday Night Football.
Crowder didn't practice Thursday, but he was a limited participant yesterday and today. He'll probably play in the game, but there are likely better FLEX options for your fantasy lineup this week.
Jamison Crowder catches all six targets in Week 3.
Crowder had 52 yards on his six receptions against the Raiders, but he did also lose a fumble on a punt. Crowder hasn't had a breakout game yet, but he's at least getting targets from Kirk Cousins. He gets the Chiefs next Monday night.
Jamison Crowder caught four passes for 47 yards in Sunday's win over the Rams.
Crowder and the Redskins have gotten off to a poor start offensively, and the group clearly doesn't have as much chemistry as a season ago. Teams have been able to focus on Crowder with Jordan Reed banged up and Terrelle Pryor ineffective, but hopefully a favorable upcoming schedule will allow Crowder to get on track. He is a player that might cause problems for the Raiders in Week 3, so Crowder will be a good WR2 option.
Jamison Crowder struggles in Week 1 against the Eagles.
The Redskins slot receiver caught three-of-seven targets for only 14 yards, while also losing a fumble on a punt return. Crowder was targeted over the middle by Kirk Cousins, which is a good sign, but they couldn't really connect on anything and one of the passes was poorly thrown and intercepted by the Eagles. Crowder will look to bounce back in Week 2 against the Rams next Sunday.
Jamison Crowder (hip) is active today against the Eagles.
This was the expectation, but now it's official. Kirk Cousins will have perhaps his most trusted receiver outside of Jordan Reed, which is good for his outlook against Philadelphia. As for Crowder, he should be a high floor option and should be in most fantasy lineups despite totaling under 100 yards in two games against the Eagles last season.
Jamison Crowder (hip) is expected to play against the Eagles, according to Adam Schefter.
Crowder was expected to play all along, but it's good to hear this anyway. He's a low-end WR2 in PPR leagues against a weak Philly secondary, though the Eagles did hold him in check last year.
Jamison Crowder (hip) is questionable for Week 1.
Crowder missed practice on Wednesday and was a limited participant yesterday and today. He should be out there in the Redskins' first game against the Eagles, but check back in Sunday morning to make sure.
Jamison Crowder catches two passes for 24 yards in Redskins' preseason game.
Crowder had 24 yards on his two receptions, but he did drop a curl route in the third quarter of the exhibition against the Bengals. The third-year receiver is looking to continue progressing and emerge as the top target at receiver for Kirk Cousins.
Crowder catches touchdown in second preseason game.
Washington's offensive starters played the entire first half because they struggled to move the ball against Green Bay, and Crowder finished with two catches for eight yards, including a four-yard score. It was good to see him get targeted in the end zone. Crowder's ADP is currently in the ninth round, but he has a much higher floor than teammate Terrelle Pryor, whom you will need to spend a third- or fourth-round pick on.
Redskins receiver Jamison Crowder returned to practice fully.
Crowder dealt with a hamstring injury that forced him to miss a few practices and the team's first preseason game, but he's back as a full participant in practice. He should be good to go this Saturday night against the Packers. Crowder is one of the better mid-round targets in fantasy leagues, with targets up for grabs in the Redskins offense after DeSean Jackson and Pierre Garcon left in free agency.
Jamison Crowder won't play in the Redskins' first preseason game.
Crowder is day-to-day with a hamstring injury, so this isn't surprising. Josh Doctson (hamstring) and Jordan Reed (toe) also won't be playing in the game. Terrelle Pryor might get plenty of looks from Kirk Cousins for however long they play in the first exhibition.
Jamison Crowder says he is day-to-day with his hamstring injury.
Rich Tandler of CSN Mid-Atlantic tweeted that Crowder "won't reveal much information" about the issue. Crowder has missed the last few days of practice with the injury, and the team hasn't said anything notable about it. It's probably just a minor issue, but the team might opt to keep Crowder out for their first preseason game next week.
The Redskins want to expand third-year receiver Jamison Crowder's role.
Jamison Crowder will be a full-time starter this season, playing outside in two receiver sets and he'll kick inside in three receiver sets. This is notable, as it will certainly lead to an increase in targets for Crowder. Head coach Jay Gruden said they'll "try to get him more involved" and that "he can run just about anything you ask him to run." The electric 5'9" receiver has been productive during his first two seasons in the league, but Crowder could be looking at a step forward and a huge third-year breakout.
Jamison Crowder quiet for fourth consecutive week to end the season.
Crowder started off extremely well this season, but slowed towards the end with Pierre Garcon and DeSean Jackson taking on larger roles. Crowder had two receptions for 16 yards against the Giants and ends his season with 67 receptions for 847 yards and seven touchdowns. We will have to see what happens with DeSean Jackson and Pierre Garcon, both who are free agents after the season, but Crowder can be drafted as a top 30 receiver next year after his very good second season.
Jamison Crowder quiet again.
Crowder had one catch (on two targets) for three yards against the Bears. Kirk Cousins has been going DeSean Jackson and Pierre Garcon's way often the past several weeks, leaving less work for Crowder. That could change quickly, but it's hard to trust Crowder in the final week of the regular season.
Jamison Crowder held under 40 yards for second straight week.
Crowder had four catches for 24 yards against the Panthers. He's slowed down a bit after his scorching midseason stretch, but could bounce back on Christmas Eve against Chicago. He'll be a FLEX option.
Jamison Crowder catches two passes in Week 14.
