WOLF SPORTS PROJECTION

Jordan Lasley | Free Agent WR

The Lions have released Jordan Lasley.

Lasley has struggled to stick around after being released by the Ravens, but he should get another opportunity soon. That said, redraft value looks unlikely in 2019.

The Lions signed Jordan Lasley.

Lasley has been with the Ravens and Raiders this summer, so he's now on his third team. But the Lions present an opportunity for the second-year receiver to carve out the No. 4 receiver role, especially after veteran Jermaine Kearse suffered a season-ending injury in the preseason. Lasley is worth monitoring in dynasty leagues as a potential long-term replacement for Marvin Jones.

The Raiders have waived Jordan Lasley.

Lasley was waived by the Ravens earlier this summer, so he’ll now be on his third team after being drafted in the fifth round of last year’s draft. In his second NFL season, Lasley shouldn’t have much trouble finding interest around the league.

The Raiders have claimed Jordan Lasley off waivers.

The 2018 fifth-round pick was just waived yesterday by the Ravens after a fight during practice, though Baltimore said his release wasn't about the fight. Lasley will join a crowded receiving corps in Oakland, and we should be able to track his status up close during HBO's Hard Knocks, which begins next Tuesday.

The Ravens have released Jordan Lasley.

This is a bit of a surprise after Lasley was selected in the fifth-round of last year's draft, but Ravens head coach John Harbaugh says the team wants to give Lasley a chance to find a better fit with a new team. Lasley did not appear in any games for Baltimore last season. The talented UCLA product should generate a good amount of interest from the other 31 NFL teams, and we expect he'll be picked up quickly.

The Ravens have selected UCLA wide receiver Jordan Lasley with the 162nd pick (fifth round) of the 2018 NFL Draft.

Lasley was a bit of a polarizing prospect, but this is a good spot and value for him. The former UCLA star was highly productive for the Bruins, and he has a chance to earn a role behind Michael Crabtree and John Brown as a rookie. Baltimore also selected Jaleel Scott today, but Lasley the two rookies will both compete for playing time, and we think Lasley has a better chance to carve out a slot role in 2018.
